L & P BUILDING SUPPLY

Description of Work: This company has a bookkeeping/accountant on staff, her name is Billie Hall, and she made a very big mistake as an accountant and has cost that company future customers. The company sold roofing supplies to a contractor at a home just up the street from me. They delivered the supplies to them with no problem. Billie Hall decided to send a very threatening letter out to the homeowner and contractor for an invoice she felt was due, but in fact was not until July. The problem arose when Billie Hall entered the homeowner's address into her computer, the INCORRECT address. I was that homeowner who has never done business with L & P Building Supply that received a certified letter letting me know they were going to put a lien on my home if I did not pay them over $2400. When I was finally blessed with a return call, she proceeded to raise her voice and give me attitude. She blamed the contractor for the error, even though it was clearly pointed out to her that it was HER error. Rather than an apology when I arrived to pick up my letter countering the incorrect threatening one, I was then again met with hostility and disrespect. This woman is extremely rude, and incapable of being an "accountant". Customer Service training would be a blessing for her. I met with the owner, who was nice and polite as he proceeded to make lame excuses for his employees. Beware, this accountant makes errors and does not catch them on her own, nor is she pleasant when approached about fixing her errors.
