Johnston's True Value Hardware

Couldn't have been better! The product was a rubber soaker hose manufactured by Apex guaranteed for seven years. I am familiar with soaker hoses and know that water pressure must be carefully restricted, nevertheless, this hose developed a small rupture (a hole) in less than two years. I returned to the hardware store with warranty and sales slip in hand, together with the defective hose, which Johnston's exchanged for a new one without a single quibble -- no questions asked. Put the old hose on the floor, please, and here's a new one, [I] hope you have better luck this time. Service personnel are knowledgeable, attentive, and prompt. Although Johnston's True Value must compete with big-box stores Home Depot and Lowe's, Johnston's holds it own primarily because of its superior service. I have to drive across town to deal at Johnston's it is always a worthwhile trip.
