These guys were great to us. I had backed into a big truck in a parking lot. No damage to the truck so we agreed no need to contact insurance. But I wanted to get my trunk repaired and rear lights replaced so that all was functional and looked ok, but did not want to pay to get it all replaced and looking perfect. They were more than willing to go with that option and got all looking and working better than I thought they could. They even suggested we get the light and bring it to them to save us a few more bucks. Great work and great price.

Doing business with the provider was a pleasure. I was given a full estimate up front. I took my truck in on the day we agreed to which was a Tues. morning. I was told it would be done within 3 days, and it was. I picked up my truck the morning of the fourth day. They did a great job. You would never have known the rear area had been crunched. A manufacturer's decal had to be replaced and they took care of that too. I highly recommend them to anyone who needs vehicle body work. Everyone I dealt with was friendly, and professional. The price seemed very fair for the job.

We were scheduled to go to Mayo Clinic the next morning early, a 24 hour drive. but late in the day we were rear-ended at an intersection. This created several problems, the worst of which was that the trunk would not close. Harold and Bob were kind enough to stop what they were doing and bend our car back into shape so that it still could be used on a long journey. They did not charge us at all. I really thought they deserved some money for their time, but they would not take it. So my impression is that they are a very honest garage, and they do good work too.

When I went to Hand B I was greeted by Harold who is a very nice man. He began by making sure I got a fair estimate from my insurance. Once he was assured it was, he scheduled me to bring my truck in a week later (only because they close for Memorial Day week). I took it in the next Monday morning, and as soon as I dropped off the truck the techs began working on it. They had the truck ready by Wednesday afternoon. It looks brand new again! The truck I have is a very distinct gray color, and they were able to match it perfectly. I highly recommend this shop.

Did an excellent job on the repairs, which were covered by insurance. At my request, they also repaired all the dents and repainted the entire car. My 2004 Toyota now looks like new!
Harold Galloway built this very modest-looking shop in 1961 and is known for the best body work in town. The same employees have been with him for decades. Las Cruces Toyota sends most of their body work to him. Expect them to take longer than the large shops because they are very careful and don't take any shortcuts.

My car was side-swiped on the passenger side. I stopped at Hand B Body Shop to have Harold estimate the damage for repair. He gave me his estimate and explained how much it would cost. .After getting the insurance claim adjuster to examine my car for damages, I presented Harold with the insurance estimate as a comparison. He went over the insurance estimate and explained the industry procedures using knock-off parts instead of manufacturer parts. He also explained how many coats of paint should be provided to give the car the finish it needed in comparison to the insurance estimate that wasn't up to standard. I learned alot from him about how cars are repaired.
The only drawback to the service performed was that it took over a week to get the parts for the repair. I had to call several times to ask for a followup on the order. I don't know where the delay was caused, whether at the dealership where the parts were ordered through or at the body shop.
Nevertheless, my car was repaired according to the insurance estimate. The kicker turned out to be that the insurance adjuster neglected to include damage to the bumper and now I have to go through the whole process again.

After inspection of the bumper an estimate was given and an appointment was made. The car was promised within two days. Because of difficulty matching the paint an extra day was required. Upon completion the newly applied paint matched the car exactly. I was completely satisfied with the work and would recommend them to anyone.

They are so honest and they will give you the cheapest option. Harold and Bob are great guys.
