My experience with Green Mountain Contractors was fantastic start to finish. I was purchasing a home with a 23 year old tar and gravel flat roof in the North Valley with signs of leaks in multiple areas. I worked with 6 different roofers that all had excellent reviews to get multiple opinions and bids. Green Mountain was able to come out the fastest, got me a bid within 24 hours, and Zach patiently walked me through different options (TPO, Silicone, and repairs to the tar + gravel). We talked through the pros/cons of each material and the cost differences. From a cost perspective, Green Mountain came in down the middle of the bunch. From a thoughtfulness, responsiveness, timeliness, friendliness, and professionalism perspective, Green Mountain was at the very top. Green Mountain was extremely communicative throughout the job. He checked in afterwards. His team showed up when they said they would and left the property as clean as they found it. Because this was for a home I was purchasing, Green Mountain had to run around and coordinate with the seller, the seller's insurance agent, myself, and the seller's agent. He also had to schedule the job with only a couple of days notice, and complete it within 3 days so we could make our closing date. Green Mountain was able to get it all done without making compromises on quality. Once I got into the home and inspected the roof, I found some extremely minor areas of concern. Green Mountain came back out promptly to address them. I will definitely be working with Green Mountain again on other projects for the home.

They did a great job. Quick, professional and great value for the quality of work. The job had very difficult access issues, cleanup required carrying material a long distance down a steep hill. Some contractors would not even bit on the job due to access issues. Green Mountain had no problem. This was a old roof from the 1970's and had a number of patches and attempted fixes which were not of high quality. Green Mountain cleaned off all the old roofing, and noted that the original roof had a design flaw that caused bad drainage. They suggested an easy fix which added several new outlets for water. Their suggestions were a great idea and I had them do that also. They also patched and repainted the inside water damage areas. Their work was such that I no longer even notice that there was water damage which is exactly what I wanted. I would highly recommend them.

After almost 3 weeks of being told I’d get a quote I finally spoke with jolene. She promised that by the end of the day I would have it. The only thing I got by the end of the day was an email saying that they couldn’t take on my project at this time because it was to complicated. My project was a very straight forward metal re-roof

I had 7 estimates and found Zach to be the most professional and knowledgeable. The project was started within a few days and managed by Almanzo, who kept me up to date as work started and progressed. The work was done in two days and the workers kept the yard tidy did a wonderful job. I would highly recommend Green Mountain to anyone needing roofing.

Zach and Jolene were professional and communication was fast and complete. They worked with my insurance company making the job go smoothly. The roofing crew was on the job when scheduled. They were friendly. The site was cleaned at the end of the job. The roof looks good. I strongly recommend them.

Only problem was skylights not being ready on time due to manufacture being slammed because of hailstorm damage in the area. This was not the fault of the company. Owner and staff were helpful, responsive, had a great sense of humor and very helpful with the insurance company.
