Four Seasons Heating & Cooling is a full-service heating and air conditioning company founded and based in Las Cruces, New Mexico that has been serving the Southern New Mexico area since 1987. We design and install heating and cooling systems for new homes and businesses as well as service and replace units on existing homes. We carry and install several products such as water heaters, humidifiers, air cleaners and programmable thermostats. Four Seasons also specializes in Preventative Maintenance Agreements.

They had some problems with the company that supplied the heating and cooling unit.  The biggest problem was it took much longer than we anticipated.  We had to have a thermostat replaced twice because it did not function correctly.  They were very responsive and tried very hard to satisfy our needs and they did.

The owner spent a lot of time explaining what was needed in order to complete the job. He even spoke with my out of town cousin also in the HVAC business, to be sure everybody was on the same page. Warranty information was provided and explained in detail, they also helped me to register the unit to take full advantage of the warranty.
The job started on time, the technicians were very polite and efficient, and the job was finished in a day. Site was cleaned up post job. I did not find so much as a screw on the ground which is not always the case.
Few days after the completed installation, we ran into a few minor hiccups. I called Four Seasons, and the very next day someone came out and took care of the problem.
The price was reasonable, the unit is functioning perfectly, and I can say with the utmost confidence that this company is competent and trustworthy, and that I will absolutely use them again should the need arise.

Adding an addendum regarding service after the sale. On 8/2015 some of the first rain began, was cleaning filters, when I noticed water had leaked on the side of the new unit. Phoned Four Seasons, they sent a tech out, he  caulked around a vent on the roof and was writing me out a bill for $87 within 5 minutes. Yes it had been 14 months since I handed this company  nearly $6000 to install a whole new system, but I felt this was a minor thing that probably should have been done on installation.
Phoned the owner of the company, he told me he would talk about it with his office manager, maybe refund 1/2. Long story short, he never called back, I phoned after 2 weeks, and he flat out refused any sort of compromise.
 My plan was to join their twice a year maintenance program, but I'm no longer feeling the love, and will look at another company. That whole day after speaking to the owner I was expecting a phone call from him, I'm extremely disappointed that he would choose to lose a customer over $87, but he has.

We live out in a rural town, the technician who came out had prepared ahead, and mapquested the directions right to my home.
He was on time, very professional, explained all the procedures he was performing.
He wrote up the bill with explanation of services and charges clearly and legibly, so I knew exactly what had been done.

Technician arrived on time and found the problem to be a bad capacitor. Tried to sell me their high warranty replacement; chose to go with the factory replacement but he had to go back to shop to get that part.
Billed for basic service call plus parts.

Installers discovered problems with the ductwork due to the old cooler leaking water, causing rusted out parts of ductwork. I wasn't financially prepared for this and thought I'd have to sell my motorcycle to pay for fix-up. I was very pleased to find Four Seasons worked with me on this... they gave me a discounted price and started up another evaporative cooler at no charge, so, thankfully, I still have my bike!
I was kept informed of the work progress during the two days it took to finish, so there were no surprises when the work was completed. I intend to use Four Seasons in the future for my heating and cooling needs.

Our electrical system needed to be upgraded and they coordinated everything with the electricians. They removed and discarded the old evaporative cooler and furnace, installed the new system, and followed up to make sure everything was working properly after installation.They went above and beyond by fixing some slight leaks in the gas lines under the house at no charge. They also provide follow up maintenance, which they have called to schedule! I recommend this company.

We contacted Four Seasons for a bid after we became very disillusioned with another firm which gave us a very high bid after we had to bug them for weeks. They just weren't interested in our business. It had been our intention to get a third bid after Four Seasons, but we were so impressed with Mike from Four Seasons that we decided to go with them forthwith. He really took the time to carefully calculate loads and to size the equipment properly. There were several code and homeowner association issues involved in our installation, and Mike worked through them very thoroughly. He also obtained the services of an excellent plumber and electrician to complete our installation. We chose some of his higher-end options. We found the entire installation process to go extremely smoothly. They were in and out in less than two days with a minimum of disruption. The workers were very professional and courteous, and they did not play loud radios all over the neighborhood as some other contractors have done. Everything was done very promptly, and Mike maintained excellent communication with us throughout the entire process. We would recommend them without hesitation. We are very happy with the results.

"System was installed correctly, to manufacturer specifications and approved by inspectors. The member received one free year of service after installation and one additional free service call even after the first year had passed. The member chose not to have a preventative maintenance agreement with us, which would have assured no service charge to remedy this and would've allowed the issue to be addressed much sooner than 3 years later. Even though he was not one of our PMA customers, we offered to perform the service for only the flat rate of a service call and no charges for additional materials required. This was unsatisfactory to the member, who thought he should get yet another free service call. The member has since paid for the service and the issue is now settled."

Using a crane parked in the driveway, they removed all the old equipment, loaded it on a truck and then lifted the new packaged units into place. They then started up the new units to make sure the oil was "burned" out of the units and that they ran perfectly. While their bid was the second lowest, their professionalism was distinct and head and shoulders above any competitor. Four proposals were submitted from four different vendors. I am so glad we chose Four Seasons.
