We have a custom built home, with all the energy efficient upgrades, as high grade windows and doors, which was suggested by Dan for the sand storms we get here in the desert in the spring.
We are total electric, with 5+KW of solar panels on the roof.
I wanted a "soaking bath tub" but I have arthritis so needed it lower than what you see in most homes, so Dan gave the suggestion of recessing the tub in the floor by 6 inches...made all the difference from getting in to getting out by myself.
Walk in"snail"  shower with 2 shower heads, for both of us to be in there, if I get to the point where I am unable to do it  alone.
Doorways are all 36" for possible walker/wheelchair access.
As we would bring up new ideas...Dan would sit and talk with us, about need/$$$/ability to do it.
We knew each day we came to the building site, that there would be someone working....not once did we come out and find NO one working.
It has been 9 months since we moved in and there has been a few things that needed adjusting or changed, or fixed...
He personally comes and does what is needed without any complaining.
The company stands behind the warranty of the whole house, minus the solar, which was a company that we had interviewed ourselves.
A great experience from start to finish.
Do not think you can find better workmanship in this area without paying a much higher price in this area.
This was not a tract home, but our plan and our desires...and he helped us to get what we wanted.
