Auto Service
We had a breakdown at night on the freeway. They towed us to a garage to have the alternator and battery replace for $900. They never gave me any information about the battery (ex. warranty info). A week later the battery gave out. I had to have it charged weekly. I was then told that this was an old battery (the type that required water). I called the guy that put the battery in the car and he said that he had a new one for me. I then went ahead and purchased a new battery elsewhere because the battery could not get me from my home to his service station since it was two hours away. I then told him that I got a new battery and showed him that I got one elsewhere. I expected some kind of financial “relief” for it. He then hung up on me and declined any financial relief.
