called De La Paz construction because of all the good reviews listed here, and I'm glad I did.  What a wonderful company!  I called them for a quote on May 30th, and Mr. De La Paz came out to my home that same afternoon.  He prepared a very professional typewritten quote outlining specifically all the work that was to be done, including cost.  I was very impressed with DJ (Mr. DeLaPaz) He had such a good professional attitude, and was very polite, as were his workers.  They were able to start work the very next day and showed up right on time,  The next morning, they came back to finish the painting, and my master bath looks amazing.
I have a few more projects including sealing my roof, adding new lighting to my guest bath, and of course, I plan to call De La Paz construction again to do these.  I am beyond impressed with this company and their good work.

The wind this year tore off a huge section of my roof covering on my patio roof.  De La Paz Construction replaced the paper and shingle on the entire roof of the patio.  The work was fast, affordable and quality.  They showed up when they said they would and on time. They did a great job and I have had no more problems since.  Highly recommend for any job you have at home.  They have done a lot of different work for us and have always been consistent with quality and timeliness.  It is often diffucult in Las Cruces to get someone to show up on time or frankly at all.  they always show up when they say they will and do what they say they will.  Highly recommend.

We had an old shower not built properly by our original builder.  The walls were full of mold and wet wood and concrete.  Del La Paz Construction came and removed the old shower including taking out the old tile, breaking out the concrete, taking out the old wet wood, removing the mold and taking out the old seat.  They built a new frame, fixed my incorrectly insulated and set plumbing, replaced the faucet, built a new shower box and tiled the whole thing.  They did the work fast and showed up on time. The work quality was great and the workers were trustworthy and top notch.

See the story above.  They were so trustworthy and hard working.  They were in my house, often alone and we had no issues. They had access to everything and their integrity is 100%.  They did more than expected especially doing the carpet for the price my insurance company said would cover only damages.  The best part about them is that they come fast and show up when they say they will.  This is something I have never been able to find in a contractor here before.

Took a  few days longer that it should have, but pleased with overall job.

My flat roof had extensive hail damage and was leaking in about 5 different spots.  We don't get rain very often, but when we do it tends to come in the form of a downpour which can dump HUGE amounts of water in a very short time.  It got to the point that I panicked every time I heard thunder and paced the house if it rained looking for leaks (most times in the middle of the night).  Rain storms were becoming traumatic for me.  Being born and raised in the desert, one tends to become quite attached to rain storms.  I contacted various roofing companies for quotes and while all were close to each other, the assistance and services I received from De La Paz Construction, Inc FAR exceeded my expectations.  They had the lowest quote; but also, assisted me with communicating to the insurance adjuster.   Their employees are ALL professional, cordial, respectful, and pretty good dancers.  :o)

Being a single female, sometimes don't receive a fair shot and get taken advantage of.  De La Paz Construction, Inc. at no time EVER made me feel like I had to check and double check their work or that I'd be taken advantage of.   It was extremely comforting to know I was being treated professionally and that my roof was completed correctly.  I never had any problems contacting anyone within the company - if my calls couldn't be answered, text messages were answered, as well as, immediate return calls.  They even allowed me to be on my roof watching since I was curious how flat roofs were built.  They made the overall experience not so stressful.  Thank you!!!!  Since my roof was completed, it has rained a few times and having the ability to sit back, relax, and enjoy the sounds and smells of rain once again means the world to me!
