My cat came in for her yearly check up and yearly shots. She will have to come back next month for a dental procedure. We saw Dr. Castro. Everything went well I have been coming to this practice since I moved to Las Cruces from Washington DC. Dr. Calista was recommended by someone at my work at the time in 2007. I had an older cat of 16 years and was told Dr. Calista was a good cat doctor. My cat Muffy is still living. Dr. Calista through a urine test found that Muffy had renal problems and put her on Benazepril pills. One half a pill daily and is on Royal Canine Renal cat food. With 4 cats, I like the Vets here. Our German Shepard use to come here too, he passed away in January of this year. He had thyroid cancer. Lobo had surgery in October 2010 and his cancer did not come back. We were pleased with the results of the surgery.

It was our first time at the Calista Animal Hospital. Dr. Calista had been recommended to us by a friend. Very welcoming staff and we were seen fairly promptly. Dr. Calista was great as was the tech which helped. Our cat HATES riding in a carrier and going to the vet. They both handled our large, unhappy feline with care and humor.

The entire staff is amazing- the office environment warm and the mascot calmly oversees all the coming and going's. We could not be happier, and will only use Calista.

They are very professional. They have hour that more accommodating for working people. They always have veterinarians available. Actually I have an emergency once, two years ago and they were very responsive and they help me out in the emergency. Their price have been on the high side. I will use them again in the future.
