Our cat has completely recovered and Dr. Thompson established a long-term treatment plan for her. All is well with our cat, eating, walking, etc.

Dr Thompson spent a lot of time with me and my dog. She examined him and then spent a lot of time answering questions I had. Very pleased with our experience. Will definitely return.

My vet's assistant was caring and patient with me and my best friend. The assistant is going to school and working. That's great! Really impressed I did not feel being rushed in our appointment or they were rushing for another client. My vet thoroughly examined my friend. She check his skin, limbs and teeth. She was caring and took her time. She really loves animals. She recommended starting MSM and requested a progress report in a week.

They are awesome. They greeted us with a warm welcome and very professional. The front station really sets the tone for the best vets office visit we've had ever. It looked and smelled great. Two assistants stepped up and carried my Lad from out of the back seat into the examining room. Matthew was attentive to hearing all the details and was thorough in asking questions. The Dr. Jones was sweet and focused on hearing details and asking questions. Dr. Jones sat on the tile floor during the exam. She took her time and was thorough. I have to say the most important factor to finding a great vet and staff is not being rushed through. The entire staff really to care and are real genuine. The charges and fees were stated in advance, that's a great thing to do and that's what makes Arroyo unique. A+ for that!  PLUS A GREAT VALUE. They are a special team of animal caregivers. They accommodated my best friend and I with care and kindness. Thanks for being in Las Cruces. And I look forward to our next visit.

They were all very friendly and kind to my cat. I did wait a while for the vet after my initial visit with the techs, but she explained why it took her a while. They were very comfortable and effective in dealing with a very scared kitty.

This is the best, cleanest and friendliest veterinary clinic I've ever visited.  All the staff were quite welcoming and professional.  Assistant Zachary and Doctor Thompson treated my newly-adopted cat with the utmost care and affection.  They answered all my questions and made my cat and me feel appreciated.  This clinic also has an excellent web site.  I would highly recommend this clinic!  (This vist was also an amazing value for the tiny amount that I was charged after applying the Angie's List coupon!  Even full price would have been a bargain.)

My cat isn't always easy to handle, but as always they did a great job.  Until I moved I had been going to this vet for 4+ years, and I'm still struggling to find a place that cares as much about animals.  The staff is so kind and friendly.  They really care about you and your pet.
They've keep my older kitty healthy by cleaning her teeth, finding out she has kidney disease & advising me how to change her diet along with giving me daily medication, and answering my paranoid questions.  There's no doubt they've improved my cats quality of life over the years.  This is the best vet in town; I HIGHLY recommend this place!!

Dr. Jones knows our cat well, since he had been under her care for about 1 1/2 years for diabetes.  He finally was too old (18)and miserable and we decided to have him put to sleep.  She gave him a shot to relax him and he laid down on the table, unconscious.  He then gave him another shot to stop his heart.  Dr. Jones was very sweet and kind to both our kitty and me and, difficult though it was to do this, he died a peaceful death.

The doctors at Arroyo have also treated our dog for a urinary tract infection, as well as doing annual exams and shots for both our dog and cat.  They are very caring and the office is pleasant to go to.  We have been customers for about 5 years.

It went very well.  All the staff were friendly and responsive.  I was very impressed with Dr. Gray, the Veterinarian we saw.  She was patient with the dogs and obviously cares deeply for animals.  We will return. for shots and regular meds in several months.

From the treatment my cat received and from Dr. Thompson's gentle demeanor, the experience was outstanding.  She and her assistants work well together and my cat was treated with a great deal of love and care which is something all pet owners, including myself, deeply appreciate.  Dr. Thompson took time to answer my questions and did a very thorough evaluation of my cat which led to an accurate diagnosis and  the implementation of an effective treatment plan that led to immediate improvement in my cat's health.  She will remain my veterinarian as long as I live in the Las Cruces area.

I took two puppies in as a pair and they checked them over. They also offered to have the youngest one spayed later on. They got them caught up on their shots that the pound may have missed. The puppies are happy and healthy after the visit. They take great care of them. They don't do unnecessary things. They even manage my cats without getting clawed up.

We have been customers of Arroyo Veterinary since about 1995.  I absolutely recommend them for their technical expertise and their loving compassion towards our pets.  They have celebrated the joy with us as we welcomed a new pet into our household and literally cried with us when it was time to let our pets go.  They have always given their very best in preserving the health and wellbeing of our pups, while keeping costs very reasonable.  When appropriate, they have recommended that we see other vetrinary agencies for highly-specialized situations, including coordinating appointments in places as far as Arizona. The experiences we have had include routine things like bloodwork, medication treatments and nail-clipping and the not-so-routine things like surgery to remove fatty lumps, esophogus issues, lupus, thyroid, and most recently salivary gland surgery.  They are expert at recognizing and diagnosing problem areas (i.e lupus and thyroid) early and starting treatment to ultimately prolong our pets life.  They have also offered holistic treatment for our dog that had cancer.  During an emergency situation when our dog was attacked by coyotes, they took her to their personal home to keep an eye on her during the night.  They have come to the house when it was time to say goodbye to our lifetime animal friends. I will always proudly recommend them to others.

My dogs are my children and they have been taking care of my very sick dogs for the last several years.  She is very thorough and very intelligent.  She is very good at telling you the truth and will help your dog not suffer, but not make you pay for worthless and overly expensive procedures.  She is diagnostically very efficient and they are good at helping you make the best decisions for the well being of your dog.

We boarded our dog at Arroyo Vet (and we always do) but this time he developed a small problem with his ear. They saw him immediately, gave him a prescription and didn't charge a dime! Same with the follow-up appointment. Staff is always friendly, clinic is spotless. Our dog does not tremble when he goes to the vet ... they are his friends! I would not hesitate to recommend Arroyo Vet to anyone for their fur-babies!

They helped as best they could, and referred to another doctor when needed.
