AAA Service Express

Pretty well. There was some confusion in the scheduling but it got sorted out. The guy who came was competent, got right to business, and gave me a tip for about fixing it myself were the problem to recur.

After the weekend when the machine had stopped, I called AAA Service Express (for the first time), left a voicemail asking whether he might be able to come by in a day or so. He called soon after, and we arranged for him to come by on Wednesday, I think it was. But then Jozsef called again a while later, telling me he could come by the house that same afternoon, after I got home from work. Jozsef is knowledgeable, friendly, helpful. He quickly located the problem in the switch that interrupts the cycle when the door is raised, replaced the switch and a fuse, and the repair was done within an hour, late in the afternoon. The charge was $77, including $60 labor, which I thought was reasonable. And he gave enough time while I was writing him the check to share (after I'd asked) experience with various makes of appliances, and the qualities of newer versus older machines (washers, refrigerators). I'd hire him again with no hesitation.

Joe replaced a bad relay. A bit more expensive than I had anticipated for just a relay but not too bad since I was expecting the compressor may have been bad.

Initially we called Joe for the refrigerator. On the phone we gave a brief description of the problem and he asked for the model information. When he arrived, we explained the details and he knew exactly what the problem was and immediately started work. He had the part needed and was done very quickly. After he was done we asked about the plumbing problem. He found a simpler solution than we had expected and had the problem corrected very quickly. All work was done efficiently with attention to detail.

Problem was resolved.

Joe is very pleasant, punctual, and had all the parts necessary to complete the repair. I called him this morning at 8:00 a.m. and he arrived at noon. The repairs were completed before 1:00 p.m. and he was on his way. This is the second time I've used AAA Service Express for dryer repairs (March 23, 2016, was the prior service call) and would use him again for any appliance repairs I need to have done. Joe is very pleasant to deal with.

AAA came in and was able to fix it quickly and efficiently. The machine is working better than it ever has. The worker called when he was on his way, was very prompt, and obviously knowledgeable. He found that the pump was not working, and had another in his truck so another appointment was not needed. I was very pleased with that since so many other times when something needed to be fixed, I'd have to have a second appointment when replacement parts were required.

Joe was amazingly prompt! He was in my neighborhood when my call reached him, so was able to come by right then to check out the problem with my 13 yr. old refrigerator. I thought it might be on its last leg! He looked at it, had the part it needed on his truck, replaced the circuit board, vacuumed the area, and the job was completed in less than one hour from my initial call for service. Incredible! He is all over Las Cruces.  He comes when he says he will and goes right to work.  Tells you whats wrong and what the part will cost. He is very fairly priced. You can rely on him.

Ice maker fix went great. Oven repair was not possible. Repairman installed a new part he thought would address the problem, but it did not. It turned out we needed a far more expensive part that basically made it a push to simply buy a new stove.  AAA refunded the charged cost of the stove repair that didn't work out so well. Very nice!

Provider's response was fast (same day completion) and very professional. Work was completed within several hours after arrival with out any significant complications or issues. Provider was friendly and easy to communicate with. I was extremely pleased with the results.

I searched Angie's list for someone who was appropriate for my job, called AAA Service Express, he said he could come by in half an hour to look at it. He was there within 20 minutes, looked over the job, the parts, asked a few questions, and then repaired it for a very reasonable cost in a short time.  
I know it was very reasonable because of working on it myself and getting incredible responses for time and labor with many constraints from other service techs.
This guy is GREAT for me. Easy, efficient, straightforward.

This is not the first job we have had them perform for us.  He always shows up when he says he will (today he was even early) and does the job professionally and quickly.  And, he always cleans up after himself--even taking garbage out.

He arrived on time, found the defective part in about 10 minutes, ordered the part, returned and installed it in about 20 minutes.

We phoned him at 10:00 a.m. on a Monday morning. He arrived at 12:00 noon the same day and got our refrigeator working again by replacing the heating element in our refrigerator. He also diagnosed why our ice dispenser was not working properly. Having to order two additional parts he came back the following Friday and replaced the auger and solenoid sucessfully completing the repairs.

Called several companies to service my evaporative cooler so my family could get some relief from the heat. AAA Service Express quoted me a competitive price and was able to send someone the same day. They replaced my water line and float, cleaned and started the cooler. We were very happy with their work and the cooler is working perfectly.

This was the first time that I had used Angie's List. He came right away that morning. I got called away unexpectedly while he was working, but he came back to finish the job later that day for no extra charge and was acted graciously about it.

The cost was minimal and I think he was very honest about it.

We had problems with our freezer not keeping the correct temperature, freezing up one minute, 65 degrees the next, etc. We had purchased a Sears Warranty for $270.00, a service tech came out and replaced the main control board and freezer thermostat on 05/08/12. (the charges came out to $400.00 which we did not have to pay as long as it was under $500.00) The next day the temp in the freezer was 65 degrees, so there must've been another problem. I called and rescheduled another appointment. When the same service tech came out, the freezer was the correct temperature and he said there was nothing more he could do about fixing the freezer unless it was acting up when he came. So, he suggested that we take the $500.00 voucher towards a new refrigerator/freezer and get rid of this one. We do not have the money to purchase another refrigerator/freezer and what would the $500.00 voucher get us??? So, we decided to join Angie's List and we found AAA Service Express in our area. I spoke to Joe in the morning of 05/22/12 and he was able to come over at noon the same day. Joe replaced the evaporator thermistor (a $10.00 part) and he was done in about 30 minutes. Today is 06/02/12 and our freezer is still working like a champ, thanks to Joe!!! I will surely recommend AAA Service Express to all of my friends and neighbors and will also tell them about our experience with Sears!
