Laroc Refrigeration Metal Division Inc

We requested an estimate for installing heating and cooling for our home in Crystal, New Mexico. We were given an estimate of 13800. but the price increase because the price increased for the refrigeration unit. We asked the company to start by a certain week but they could not accommodate us because they did not have the supplies. The company did not send a person to measure or inspect the work that needed to be done in our home. All of a sudden the company called us and said they were ready to start the job. The two workers arrived and starting ripping out the old heating system and the workers started cutting holes in the walls in the hallways, bedrooms and bathrooms. Prior to the workers starting to cut the holes in the walls; my husband asked lead worker to move the vents higher but he was told no. The  worker worked for 6 hours and left early. The workers returned the next day and the worker stated the vents could be moved higher and therefore additional holes were cut into the walls. The workers failed to place drop cloths on our carpet and that ruined the carpet. The carpet needed to be replaced because of their lack of respect for our property.  This entire project took a total of 8-9 days to complete. Upon completion of the project the workers did not patch the hole they created. In addition, the workers did not replace the return air grill and it required several calls to their office to get the grill to us and my husband was the one who finally fixed it. We felt that the company over charged us for the quality of work they provided and we placed a call to the owner of the business and to make this story short- the owner essentially told us it was our fault that we had holes in our walls because we did not call the main office with our request. We assumed the worker got clearance when he returned the 2nd day and said it was ok to move the vents higher. I do not recommend this company for any type of work in any home.
