They are wonderful with our pets. Very patient and caring. They make sure the pet is as relaxed as possible. I always feel that we get special attention whenever we have an appointment. They are proactive regarding dental care and keeping up with preventative vaccines.

As in the first block, I an very happy with the outcome for me and my cat. She only eats special food and is on daily meds, but she is soooooo much better for now. I know she could relapse, but she has a doctor who took the extra time and energy to get to know her, and has gone out of his way to help. I know he will do what is good for her and that is very important to me. My cat is like a child to me!

The vet was curt and demeaning. When I asked about one of the warts she told me that what I was referring to was a nipple. this was without looking at where I was pointing.

We have been going to them for multiple years. I think they are very caring, thorough and have a lot more diagnostic equipment than the other veterinarians. Also, they are not affraid to refer you if they are not able to perform the service. The office is also very clean, friendly and don't have to wait long.

I took our dog in on a Monday morning after she had been ill throughout the weekend, They kept her in their care throughout the day running tests. They Called that afternoon and said they think there could be air/gas in her gallbladder they need to do an ultrasound, (fine no problem). While waiting to here back from them i researched "gas in gallbladder" in my books. Most likely caused by blockage i.e.- Gallstones, however if to the point of gas that can bee seen on x-ray this warrants immediate surgery. Ok lets get it done. At 5:00 they called to tell me they are going to do the ultra sound the next morning. I LOST IT!!! Asked -why they haven't done the ultra sound (they take all of 15 minutes for this procedure) and their response was they where just too busy. I asked If they where aware what will happen if the bladder ruptures???? They THEN FOR the FIRST TIME informed me they could do anything about it anyhow because they don't do the surgery she needs. WHAT????? couldn't you have told me this earlier? So now the dog has been there for 8 hours and they have done nothing. I told them I would come get the dog and take her someplace that can do the surgery. They then informed me they where closing and i couldn't get the dog until the next morning. I raised a bit of h*** on the phone and they agreed to wait until i could get there to pick up the dog. I called another Vet in town and he recommended taking the dog to Vet Specialty Hospital in ABQ. I took the dog to theVet Specialty Hospital in ABQ as suggested. We arrived around 9:30pm. They where great! She was found to have gas in her gallbladder as Valley stated and she was prepped and taken to surgery but the bladder did rupture between the ultrasound and surgery. That was at the beginning of November, she is now still alive and doing well. All follow-up post surgical visits have been done at San Juan vet where we will stay. If the dog would have spent the night at Valley Vet waiting for the Ultra sound she would be dead. If they would have recognized the emergent situation and been up front about needing to take her someplace else for the surgery,I would still be a client. Instead they choose to let the dog die and collect what they could from me. I will not ever go back, I suggest to you-- take your animals to another Vet, if you truly care about them.
