Child Care - Center
$600
Facility was flooded with toys and appeared quite cluttered. Children were seated having snacks one one child was definitely sick with a cold. --Didn't want this type of experience for my child.

My child has gone to preschool and now kindergarten at Casa Montessori since 2011. It is a fantastic center. By the end of my daughter's first year (age 4), she was reading, doing kindergarten math, understanding simple Spanish, and the basics of science and nature. Now that she's in kindergarten there (age 5), she's reading chapter books, doing complex math, knows simple conversational Spanish (we don't speak Spanish), is knowledgeable about nature and science, and has made many friends and learned conflict resolution. My daughter has also discovered through their Winter program that she loves being on-stage. While she was rarely shy before going to Casa Montessori, now she has no issue speaking in public settings, such as church or performances.
One program I really appreciate is their monthly date nights. I have two other children who are not enrolled since I'm a stay at home mom. They accept my unenrolled children in addition to my 5 year old so they'll watch a 4 month old, a 2 year old, and a 5 year old for several hours for a very reasonable rate including dinner and snacks. Miss Andrea knows and loves my unenrolled children as much as my enrolled child. I love it.
They also go on several field trips a year including the Pumpkin Patch, the fire station, police station, and nature walks. When they go to the pumpkin patch at Sutherland Farms, the kids and adults can go on a hay ride, the little train, in the corn maze, and they pick their own pumpkin plus a snack all for a few dollars.
When my other two children are old enough for preschool, I will enroll them here as well. If I was working, this would be my child care of choice as they take care of children as young as 8 weeks. I wish they continued past kindergarten but I am so appreciative of what they do for my child(ren).
