JERRYS BARBER SHOP

I have been visiting Jerry for 3 years now, it is my understanding he has been a "fixture" in Farmington for over 30 years, and I'm relieved to say he has decided against retirement for a few more years. My particular needs aren't too demanding as I'm partially bald and really only need to see him about every 2-3 months, and since I travel from a distance to Farmington to shop, etc. I have only been to his shop on Saturdays. If you're in a hurry, you need to get there early, as most times that I have gone he stays busy during the day. Don't expect to rush in and out, nor should you. With Jerry, it's about the "total experience", not only from his vast number of stories and jokes, but from the customers as well. I consider going to see Jerry like visiting with some of your favorite relatives you only see on occasion. Even if you have to wait an hour (or longer) you're never bored, always entertained, and will probably learn more about the area news than the local papers and websites. My only regret is my hair doesn't grow faster so I could visit him a bit more often!
