The replacement went fine, I thought. Until it started raining. The unit was never properly sealed on the roof and water leaked into my attic. The old copper water line they didn't take out which also leaked. Right into the master bedroom closet through the drywall ceiling. When called on this they stated it was a phone line they had nothing to do with. When told that I and a friend had been on the roof and seen the old copper line coming through the electrical boot they installed on the roof they stated they could not touch the preexisting line even though they sent a tech to come pull it out the day prior. They also stated they weren't responsible for the drywall repair or the water damage since it also came from that old line from the cooler they removed to put in the new one! Rediculous! When approached by my friend who left an upset voice mail they used several derogatory terms in an email they sent. I would highly recommend getting someone else to do the work you need and if by chance you have to use them watch every move they make in your home or you'll be left footing the bill.

"Comfort Solutions Mechanical Response: First some FACTS: Mr. [Member Name Removed] I'm not sure who YOU are....but...Comfort Solutions Mechanical has NOT been paid by YOU, conducted any business with YOU, and no one at our company has spoken with YOU directly regarding this issue or installation. That being said....here are some specifics and FACTS about the installation to which I believe that you are referring to. We were contracted and PAID by another individual to install a new evaporative cooler last year at the address you mentioned. That installation was completed on June 3, 2016. Installation included a new roof flashing, a new unit stand, a new 16" round drop, an electrical plug, and a new "poly" line run outside the home. (It is our company policy to NOT run water lines through the home's interior due to the possibility of leaks and water damage.) We were NOT contracted to replace the original water line (which is run on the interior of the home's attic), NOR were we contracted to decommission the original water line. Yesterday for the VERY First time since the installation of the unit (done more than a year ago), we were contacted by an individual about a possible leak from the unit. We promptly sent over 2 Technicians (in under 2 hours, I believe). The Technicians removed the cooler and inspected the roof flashing and found no evidence of leaks within the scope of work that was completed by our company. Our Technicians also took the extra time to inspect the attic area and told the homeowner (who called) where they believed the leak could be coming from, the roof penetration where the original water line was run. (Which we did not install or work on) they also informed her that the condition of her roof made leaks possible in other places (which she stated she already knew). Comfort Solutions Mechanical has a 1 Year Labor Warranty on all our installations, and even though it had been more than 1 year and 2 months, we sent technicians to the home and even completed a small repair for FREE to be helpful. Our Technician spoke directly to the homeowner and I did personally email her as well to make sure that the situation was understood and to see if there were any other issues. (NO derogatory terms were used in that email, and I would be happy to forward a copy of that email to you if you would like to read it) I have also quoted her response to that email here: "Amy, thank you so much for your time and your lengthy email. There was information miscommunicated yesterday & I thank you for clearing this up. I was not present nor the one who scheduled for the initial visit a year ago and was not aware of the original agreement. That being said, the two gentlemen that were at my house, short notice no doubt, were Awesome! Thank them for their expedited service and I will take care of the drywall repair when I am able. Again, thank You! AG----r To anyone reading this I hope that the FACTS speak for themselves, and that the very hurtful and slanderous allegations made by an individual who has NEVER done ANY business with our company are disregarded and marginalized as they should be! We work hard to ensure that our customers are given the best possible installation and service. If further clarification is needed, or if there are new FACTS to be discussed please call me directly at (505) 325-5551. Thank you, Amy Montoya - Proud Owner of Comfort Solutions Mechanical."

Provider was quick to show up and give appraisal and sell product.  Home is older and provider said absolutely no problem, he had already done some other homes in the neighborhood and the jobs went smoothly.  Provider took longer to schedule job, even after saying he could start it right away.  When job was "complete" provider left a mess with wiring and ducting.  My husbad had to call them back and have them pick up trash that was left behind as well as correct incorrect wiring and duct work.  Absolutely no pride in their work.
System has been in since late June.  In late August (2 months later) we had a lot of rain.  Roof where unit was leaked, both of us were out of town on business and my mother-in-law called to tell us we had 12" of water throughout our whole house.  We called provider and he said he'd get someone out there to look at roof (this was timely).  Unit was removed, roof was fixed and unit was re-placed and provider paid for the clean up.  We had more rain and roof leaked again.  When my husband called expressed his unhappiness with quality of workmanship, provider thought it was pretty funny and cracked jokes.  Talk about adding insult to injury.
Provider offered to pay for hotel stay while house was being "dried" out.  We haven't been able to use unit this entire time.
I would like to take provider to court for property damage (furniture, carpet, electronics, and miscellaneous items), and I have also reported him to the BBB here in Farmington.

They were a little slow getting to it because they were so busy, and we had to smell dead mice for 4 weeks, but they pin pointed the
problems and fixed it by cleaning out ducts, lifting heating/cooling unit off of roof and reseating properly as original plumbers did not do correctly.
