My wife contacted ChemDry after several other so-called "cleaners" basically blew her off, most likely because what we needed was a relatively small job -- a living room rug needed to be cleaned, mainly because of accumulated grime over a couple years, plus one minor dog accident. ChemDry's M.O. is to clean things like rugs, upholstery, etc. on-site. My wife called on June 9 and made an appointment for the following day.
The next day, a company rep called about an hour and a half in advance of the scheduled appointment time just to confirm. The two young service men (Cory and Sam) showed up EXACTLY on time. They were pleasant and professional -- and got right to work. They told me about the company's minimum charge, and asked if we might have another rug or two that needed cleaning, so that we'd get maximum "bang for our buck" -- and that resulted in a small bedroom rug, plus a hallway runner getting cleaned as well. That kind of forthright honesty is the chief reason this outfit scored an "A" rating just about across the board.
I asked about my wife's concern that cleaning the big rug on-site might damage her wood floor, but the reps assured me that would not happen -- and it didn't. All three rugs were steam-cleaned inside 30 minutes.
The person who first took my wife's initial call at ChemDry had actually quoted her a slightly higher price. Had Cory and Sam not been honest enough to make the correction when they got here, we wouldn't have known the difference. Before I retired, I was in sales a long time; and I KNOW those are the kinds of nice touches that WIN customers, KEEP customers... and get business referrals! Therefore, not only would I not hesitate to call ChemDry again; I would also unhesitatingly recommend them to others...a thing I'm very, very careful about.
