Insurance Agencies
We have had some difficulty in getting a reasonable homeowners policy. Although we have never made any claims against our homeowners insurance, the costs kept going up 10-15% a year. We have a "hybrid" home - a mobile home on a permanent foundation with attached frame living and garage areas. This makes it difficult sometimes to get insurance. I tried working with the insurance agency that sold us the original policy, but they were not able to provide any better alternatives.
The agent at Rio Grande Insurance Company found us an alternate provider that saved us a lot of money. I first approached the agent in mid May - it took her a while, but she found us a deal that I am very happy with. Now, I am in the process of moving some of our other policies over to Rio Grande Insurance.
I would recommend this company - they will work hard for your business.
