COOK'S ESPANOLA TRANSIT MIX

We called to complain about the dirt/rock mix they delivered (which we didnt order) and for about 4 hours that we tried to get a hold of a supervisor andhe was at lunch.Since we couldn't get a hold of anyone, we told them we were cancelling the check we gave them at delivery because this is not what we had ordered. After the 5th call, i finally got in touch with a supervisor, and asked if he had received our message. He said yes, and that he couldnt speak to me since I had cancelled the check, and it was going to go to their attorney. I explained to him that I cancelled the check because no one was willing to speak to me to resolve this issue, and I wasn't going to pay for something I didnt order. I asked him to come get the rock and he said no, and that (even though they delivered the product and I made the check out to them) it isn't their product. He said that they delivered what I ordered, which is completely untrue. I ordered 7/8" Santa Fe Brown landscape gravel, he is saying that I ordered Santa Fe brown mix. It says "7/8 Santa Fe Brown" on my invoice, and on their website, that is described as "landscape gravel." I asked for his supervisor, he said no one else was there, and refused to give me contact information for his boss. Since he did that, I have filed a complaint with the BBB. I have a feeling they knowingly mixed our rock with dirt thinking we wouldn't notice or care and now are trying to cover themselves. Buyer beware!!!

I called Cooks in Espanola to see if they rent tables & chairs, they do.The price was reasonable, the tables & chairs were worn, but I used table clothes so it was ok.Customer service was ok, the store is busy so I had to wait a bit to be helped.  I didn't find they were friendly & overly helpful, just business & pointed to the direction of the item I needed.
