It was hideous. He started taking other jobs on the side before finishing mine. He messed my apartment up by throwing dirt and debris out of the bathroom. They just left and never cleaned up. I thought everything would be done when I came back from vacation. He also looked to see a job at my home as well. I had to install a pump to send the water out. He said that the pump was fine, but I needed a new leach field. He pushed me to complete this, but I had a second opinion out to check it out. My normal plumber said I just need to start the pump back up and it took the push of a button.

He would never show up to my apartment. I told him if he does not have it finished by Friday, then I will need to have another plumber out to finish the work and also will find another plumber for the work at my home. He left a huge hole in my wall of my apartment when he returned. He said he would plaster the hole. He finished the rest of the work, but he had not plastered the hole nor had he gotten an electrician to wire up the water heater. I told him just fix the hole then. He said he would come back the next week to do that, but I told him I would not pay the last third of the money until the hole was fixed. He was furious with me saying this. He demanded the money and I was very nervous being there by myself. I grabbed a neighbor and had her come over. After she left, he came in with another key through the back door. He demanded that I write the check so it is all paid for. I thankfully called the police to make an incident report. John kept calling after the police left to say that he needed my money immediately. He keeps calling my landlady saying that the police are on his side and he needs his money, etc.

All he needed to do to get the last third of the payment was to finish the hole in the wall. I do not want him to come around again. He is irresponsible and doesn't finish what he starts. I have talked to probably five other people who have had the same situations with him. He stays long enough to get most of the money from you and then leaves for another job meanwhile leaving your place a mess.
