They saw him immediately. Had to keep him for fluids and high fever. He was very ill. He was seen 3 times (twice for follow ups.

I use them all the time. I’ve been going to them for years. They are confident. They get me in quickly when my dogs are sick. They do a good job. They are very qualified at what they do and they are close. Their pricing is pretty average.

My normal vet was out of town so I took my cat to Vista Larga. My cat has had an ongoing problem
with urinary tract infections and she was acting like she had it again! At Vista Larga, Dr. Coleman checked
her out and told me some things I didn't know about UTI's in cats, etc. They did a urinalysis of her urine
and found her to be okay. He was very thorough and some of the things he told me I suspected and I
may switch her to him entirely. I felt they did a really good job and I didn't have to wait.

I have a crazy, happy, goofy dog who has been undergoing chemotherapy for over 4 months, under Dr. Kline's care. He is always happy to go to his appointments, regardless of the reason. Instead of any ill effects, he has been more playful lately, even though he is losing his hair. His first administration of chemo put him in remission. We hope to keep him there so we can enjoy him for as long as we can.

Dr. Coleman is incredibly thorough, caring and dedicated.

We've been going to Vista Larga since it opened. Vicki Averhof and her staff have always done an outstanding job in caring for all of our dogs.

I had a great experience there. The veterinarian had a good bedside manner. They basically lay it all out and tell you everything. They're very compassionate when we had to put our dog down last year and they set us up for an afternoon appointment basically when pretty much everybody else will out of the office and they even kept the office open up late so we could spend more time with her before we left and it was the humane set up, it was just fantastic. We bring all our pets there.

There are four outstanding veterinarians that work at Vista Larga Animal Hospital. Two are on staff Monday through Friday from 8:00 am - 6:00 pm. One is on staff on Saturday from 8:00 am - 12:00 noon.

There are two wonderful receptionists that try to keep everything running smoothly, checking clients in and out.; There are several registered veterinary technicians working hard to take care of patients, performing lab work, taking radiographs (x-rays), and monitoring a pet during surgery. One of them will graciously check you and your pet into the exam room.
They will do some preliminary vital signs and possibly lab work and take notes as to the reason for the appointment, i.e. what happened? when did it happen? etc. They will then review the appointment with the veterinarian. The veterinarian will come in visit with both you and examine your pet and offer the best possible care.

If your pet is having several things done to best diagnose their illness (i.e. blood work, x-rays, etc.) the veterinarian is always happy to provide you with an estimate of costs upfront.

Vista Larga Animal Hospital is really good. They charged me minimal. I like their service, kindness and they really care about your animals. It's clean, friendly and timely.

I cannot say how impressed I am with the positive attitude of the people working at this clinic as well as Dr. Coleman's knowledge and care for the animals he sees. This is an amazing clinic that takes great care of their human and animal patients. I have never had such great service provided in such a friendly manner.
I took my dog in to see Dr. Coleman because she wasn't using her back right leg. Dr. Coleman spent time with me explaining what was wrong with my dog. He is a veterinarian who specializes in orthopedics (what luck as my dog tore her tendon). Dr. Coleman even called the next day to see how my dog was doing and then rearranged the clinic's surgery schedule in order to get my do into surgery as soon as possible! I live in Albuquerque and will drive the half hour to Edgewood because I think they provide such a great service.

I love this vet; my mother even comes out from Albuquerque to see this vet. I never feel rushed; sometimes there is a wait in the waiting room because the vets take their time. It the folks have questions about their dogs or cats they will take the time to answer the questions; they don't rush you in and out. I love the office environment; everybody is very friendly and brings their animals to work. It is a very pet and human friendly place. They are not bad about sending us out to a different vet if necessary or maybe to a specialist in Albuquerque; they will help make the appointments. Dr. Kline is wonderful.

Dr. Vickie Averhoff is the veterinarian at Vista Larga Animal Hospital in Edgewood. I spent about $ 150 on the service and I had a lot of tests done. I saw her for blood testing for my dog. I had my dog for surgery and I have to go periodically for monitoring. She was brilliant veterinarian, I think. She came highly recommended by veterinary specialist that I checked with. She was very caring and competent. I think they were expensive. In-fact, I came early and they brought me in. I would continue to use her in the future.

I had an appointment and was greeted and checked in a few minutes before my scheduled time. The vet was most thorough with the exam and suggested some lab work to make sure everything was okay with my beloved dog. The cost of everything was very fair and I feel like I got more than my money's worth. So relieved we have such high quality animal care in the E.Mtns. Yeah

They are very friendly and professional. I think they are reasonable.

This veterinary practice has a new owner (Dr. Averhoff) and new name, Vista Larga Animal Hospital. I've used their services since winter 2009/2010 for cats and dogs; routine shots/exams and senior feline issues. I highly recommend their services. Mid 2010 I moved my horse from Corrales to my home in Edgewood and use Western Trails for equine services but have stayed with Vista Largo for the dogs and cats. Far superior to the other small animal vet in Edgewood.
