I called Ed on the morning of the 17th, he said he could come to my home that same afternoon.  Ed and Chris arrived on time at the time they stated they would.  The two conducted a through troubleshooting of all potential cause for the lack of power and determined there to be a defective cable in the wall connecting the kitchen boxes.  Ed agreed to return on the 21st to confirm and fix the problem.
Subsequent to Ed departing, Angie's List sent to my email a "Big Deal" offer of two hours of an electrician's time for $99.00 (50% of usual fee).  I decided to see if another set of eyes may have a different solution for my problem which they did and completed the repairs at that time.
I called Ed on the 18th to let him know the problem had been resolved, there was no need for him to return on the 21st.  Ed had not charged me for his service call ($80) when initially at my home and I told himI would send a check to him for that amount - Ed said to forget the check and there was no charge for his troubleshooting time.
Ed and Chris were prompt, professional, courteous and, humorous as well as on the mark regarding the nature of the problem and the estimated cost to repair if the wall interior had to be accessed.  I would definitely use East Mountain Electrical again when the need arises.
