Steve was wonderful to work with, and he has a great sense of humor. He helped me choose fabric, ordered the fabric, and when the fabric was received, he completed the job in just a couple days. His work is perfectly detailed and the chairs look exquisite. He installed all the seats quickly and efficiently. I highly recommend him.

Outstanding work by Steve in upholstering two cushions from our 1950s chrome rocker. He gave us critical advice on the fabric we chose, recommended quality foam cushions to replace vintage coil springs, and produced a lasting product for our southwest home. His completion of the work was much faster than he first projected and his price for fabric and labor were very fair and a good value. I would trust him to upholster anything of ours in the future.

Better than new and returned to me in under 48 hours. I'll call Steve for any upholstery needs in the future. Excellent!

Great Job!  Steve exactly matched our leather fabrics, and we can't tell anything was ever replaced. Great service, too.  Got the car back in less than a day.  We will definitely come back for all our future needs for the cars and for our home furniture, too.  If you like great customer service, prompt responsiveness, and quality workmanship, you will love this vendor.

Owner Steve Chavez did a terrific job of reupholstering three cushions for me. He completed the job ahead of schedule and was very easy to work with. The job cost more than I had anticipated, but that's because I chose the most expensive fabric available. I am very pleased with the finished product and plan to take him cushions from another chair soon.

I brought the cushions in and got them back just a few hours later! He did exactly what he said he would do, the price was a good price for this type of work and they work great for my couch.

I took my purchased fabric to the shop along with my very worn down cushions. Less than two weeks later I picked them up-beautifully re-done. Steve was extremely professional. His workmanship is excellent and I would not only use him again, I will highly recommend him.

One arm of my leather sectional became worn and eventually ripped. Since this is an expensive sectional and I was not in a position to replace it, I decided to see if having it repaired was a possibility. I called Cibola and Steve agreed to come over and take a look at it. He arrived at the agreed upon time and took his time looking at the arm and trying to come up with a solution. Since the leather was all one piece, fixing only the arm was not a possibility, and the cost to replace all of it would be too expensive. Eventually he came up with the idea to make a sleeve to cover the arm. He had several books of leather samples with him and I found almost an exact match. We decided to cover both arms so they would look uniform. He delivered the finished sleeves before the promised date, and they are perfect. They look like they were an original part of the sectional. I could not be more satisfied.

I was in a quandary; loose my favorite chair due to badly worn fabric, or pay to have it reupholstered? I asked this question of the owner, who agreed with my preference- my favorite fine-quality chair would be worth the investment. We met with Steve, who took his time with me to preview numerous fabric samples. and we selected a real beauty. (He has a very wide selection, both by style and price to choose from). He gave the timeframe for completion; he called to let me know when my chair was ready a few days earlier than expected.
I sew, and know a little about quality upholstery and what to look for. The upholstery on my chair was beautifully done, with quality finishing details (for example, the 'deck' under the seat cushion was fully finished in the selected fabric, not a cheaper fabric. The skirt was double thickness of the selected fabric, and falls gracefully. Tuck details were symetrical and smoothe.)
The work exceeded my expectations. Throughout, Steve was personable, professional, obviously knows his business, and takes pride in quality workmanship.
I am delighted with my 'new' chair, feel it was well worth the expense, and recommend Cibola Upholstery very, very highly.

This was one of the easiest upholstery jobs i had experienced. I had furniture recovered in NJ before and it was a disaster! I had to buy all new, so as you can imagine I was a little aprehensive , but all went beautifully.
