Went well. They took my car in and gave me a time to return. When I returned car was ready and health sheet for auto was given to me.

We have used Hamilton Ford Service exclusively for over 5 years. We
have a Ford Escape and we have a service agreement that we purchased
when we purchased the vehicle. Usually we do not even need an
appointment for routine service although we always call before going
there. They check everything on the vehicle. We have never had an
after service problem.

The truck was towed into this shop with a suggested diagnosis of contaminated fuel. They said it would be covered under warranty, and started repairs, repeatedly assuring me that the repairs would be covered under warranty. When Ford Corporate denied the warranty claim (duh!) they told me it would be %7400 to repair the truck. I chose to have the truck towed back to Indy, and they told me that the repairs to date were $4800. I refused to pay, and had to contact the NM Attorney General's Office to make sure they were in violation of the NM Consumer Protection Laws. I threatened a lawsuit, and the shop released the truck to me at no charge.

The stupid thing is that when the truck got back to me, they had not even fully drained the fuel tank, so there was still 10+ gallons of contaminated fuel, so that if the parts that they were just throwing at the problem in an attempt to fix it had worked, the truck would have broken down again in 10-20 miles. What reputable mechanic attempts to repair a vehicle with contaminated fuel without first completely draining the fuel system?
