They are very professional!! We have had bad luck in the last when it comes to our dog receiving his actual shots (the technicians would miss and poke him numerous times) but they were able to calm him and stick him once and draw the blood amount required. Very loving and kind people towards our fourth member of our family.

Overall I was okay with my experience at the Clovis Veterinary Hospital. I took my two dogs in for their annual shots. The ladies at the front desk were very nice and friendly. I arrived at a time when they were not terribly busy and my wait time was short. The vet tech was friendly and good to my pets. Overall it was a good experience. However, I was a little upset that Dr. Ford would not give me the Heartgard I was needing. She wanted to do blood tests first. I understand their need to test dogs for heart worms if they have not been on Heartgard previously or have missed a dose, but my dogs have been on Heartgard all of their lives and have not missed any doses. She would not take my word for it. I will go back to our Vet in Amarillo to get the Heartgard. Also, Dr. Ford does not give DHPP vaccinations every year. Even though this saved us some money, I wonder if they really do need the vaccination. I know our Vet in Amarillo would disagree with this policy. So I am confused as to what to do about it. I did not find Dr. Ford particularly friendly, even though the rest of the staff at Clovis Vet Hospital are very nice. The facility is clean and pleasant. I do not have any problem going back, but I obviously will be keeping our Vet in Amarillo as a backup.

Very well. Mrs.Ford was very sweet to our nervous dog. We have all of our dogs go to Clovis Vet Hospital. This was our first time seeing doctor ford, normally we see doctor williams. The staff is very professional and welcoming as well.
