Phone Service - Cellular
Windstream Communications DSL Internet is nearly the speed of dial-up service in south Carlsbad due to insufficient equipment, funding, manpower, care, and other factors. If you are lucky, your 12MB service will be around 1MB at best. It's much worse during peak hours. Multiple reports have yielded no results, They simply do not care, and have no timetable to fix this issue. It's been this way ever since the oil and gas boom in this town, a few years ago. Windstream continues to sell high speed Internet service, but cannot provide it. I feel this matter should be investigated by the FCC. A nationwide communications business should not be allowed to falsely advertise speeds which are unattainable to the customers. I am selling my home and moving because of this issue. It's THAT bad!
