They would return your calls and show up when they’re supposed to show up. They are straight forward and they take pride in their work that they’re going to do it the right way for what we say we are.

+ 2 moreAlpha Home Improvements (AHI) has been our Go-To contractor on several home improvement projects. We have always hired Alpha at his hourly rate but he will work on contract too. We liked the way AHI did business, and have had him replace flooring, paint interior walls, Penofin the outside of our 'log siding' home and detached garage, etc. We even asked him to 'solve' a problem--an area off the loft that we wanted to use for storage; it needed a walk-thru door and flooring and we wanted the opening to blend in with existing paneling. He did a beautiful job.
Description of Work: The job included removing a kiva fireplace in our living room as the supporting wall behind the fireplace was not structurally sufficient for the kiva fireplace. After two repairs by other folks, we called Alpha Home Improvements (AHI).. He listened to us, did his own analysis of the problem, and we finally got the recurring problem identified, and fixed. Superficial repair wasn't possible so we considered our alternatives and AHI removed the fireplace, rebuilt the exterior and interior wall and roof/ceiling/flooring areas--beautifully!

+ -1 moreKevin is one of the few contractors that will show up when he says, stays however long the job will take and cleans up when done. He is meticulous about detail and makes sure the job is done well. He is a great communicator and is available when there are any questions about the job.
Description of Work: We've used Alpha for numerous projects over the past 10+ years. He has remodeled bedrooms, custom closets, painted (interior/exterior) and recently installed 3 skylights. He also put in tongue and groove wood around the skylights, which was his idea. Brilliant!! Added so much to the room.

+ -1 moreAlpha Home Improvements (AHI) was referred to me by a stucco repair person who had been referred to me by a neighbor. AHI was contacted and they promptly responded and provided an estimate and tentative start date contingent upon completing a current job. Due to windy weather, AHI delayed start time by a day. AHI owner, Kevin Angevin, called daily to apprise me of situation. AHI arrived early in the morning of set date, completed the job very professionally to my satisfaction.
Description of Work: Alpha Home Improvements was hired to paint exterior trim on my home. Owner and employees were courteous, competent, professional and did an excellent job. They were prompt and performed the work in a timely manner. I highly recommend Alpha Home Improvements.
