CVM Carpentry & Drywall

Chris/CVM Carpentry did a great job converting a closet to a pantry. He took time to help me think through each step of the process, and made practical suggestions that helped give me what I wanted. He was punctual, fairly priced and I felt very comfortable working with him. Would definitely hire again.

Very knowledgeable and punctual and reasonably priced. They replaced the posts and drywall ceiling of our porch, along with a lighted ceiling fan. We did request a little touch up at the end, which was completed quickly and satisfactorily.

Chris was punctual and performed the job as requested in a timely fashion. Would hire him in the future if needed.

Chris quoted a reasonable price to me and we scheduled the work. Chris showed up on time and installed all the doors in just a few hours. He cleaned up the work areas completely. I'm very satisfied with the doors and the installation. I will definitely hire Chris again.

Excellent. Chris responded quickly and came out to give me an estimate, which was fair and reasonable. We scheduled the work, he showed up early (which is exceedingly rare with contractors), and did excellent work. I would not hesitate to hire him again.

The contractor failed to float the mud to hide the line where the bathroom vanity used to be. However, behind the toilet came out great. Unfortunately, that part was covered when the toilet was reinstalled. Having a smaller vanity now, a clear line can be seen where the old vanity was at, even after paint.

We highly recommend Chris. The work was done quickly and efficiently. He carefully protected the rest of the kitchen by hanging drop cloths. Cleanup was excellent. Chris easily figured out how to remount complicated ceiling lights. His work was excellent overall. We will definitely hire him again for this type of work and other projects. He is very talented and competent.

Perfectly. Called in the afternoon, they came out within a couple of hours. Estimate was very reasonable. Showed up the next day, did excellent work in very short time. We could not be more pleased.

The finish Chris put on it was perfect, almost beautiful, I would say. He came in at the price he had figured, which seemed fair to us, and after seeing the finished product - it was a big - wow! Chris is timely, an extremely hard worker, courteous, and will even chuckle every now and then.

Chris and Jerome were punctual when they came out for the estimate and were very honest in what needed to be fixed. They were punctual when showing up for the job, and were very thoughtful in their clean-up. Two good guys, I recommend them and would hire them again.

It went extremely well. The company was very responsive, polite and pleasant to work with. They did the job on budget and on time. They had good workmanship and left the site clean. When the site was inspected and it was determined that we needed replacement insulation in addition to replacing the ceiling drywall, the company offered to purchase and install the insulation as part of the project. It was all very well done and we would use them again if the need arose.

Chris was responsive and conscientious. He and his partner worked quickly, efficiently, and we were extremely pleased with the end result.

Very, very well, Chris and Jerome solved a problem I had been living with for years!! I had the doors "repaired" in the past but this just made it worse, even rendering one door uncloseable! I had lost hope but CVM Dry wall & Carpentry came in and just in time for out-of-town company, completely replaced the door frames and doors, on time, on budget, and with perfect accuracy!!

Drywall work ok, but failed to cover possessions or floor during work. Drywall dust in and on everything. Paint spattered on tile floors. Had to hire restoration service and paid $2500 to clean up after them. They dId not replace moldings, did not put up speakers they took down, shelves uneven. Required half payment up front in cash and check for balance three days before job completion, so check would clear by job end or they could not buy supplies. Although job was incomplete, the day the check cleared they were gone. Said they would come back but didn't. Have had to hire other contractors to finish jobs.

Jerome and Chris of CVM were amazing. They showed up on time and stayed late to clean up before the job was even finished so that I didn't have to deal with a mess until they came back the next morning. The quality of the work was top notch. Can't even tell I had major ceiling leaks. Total professionals! I would recommend them in a heartbeat.

Excellent. although they were booked for weeks in advance, I told them I was flexible. They came just a couple days later when they had a cancellation. Work is great.

Took longer for second repair than I expected but they were patient and made sure to do it right. They also didn't charge extra when I asked for them to install cabinet locks.

He and his assistant arrived as scheduled with the necessary materials and completed the work in one day. After the work was completed he cleaned the work area. The repair made to the ceiling is as if it had never been damaged. Chris made sure that the work was done to my satisfaction all during the repair process. The cost was very reasonable for the work done. I would use his services again.
