I am beyond disappointed in this company. It has taken me everything to not post a review but I can’t allow myself to let it go. I should have filed a lawsuit and it haunts me and is detrimental to my mental health nearly everyday that I haven’t. Long story short they provided me a used system when I purchased a new one. It flooded my entire house ruining my flooring. I fought nail and tooth to get them to replace my flooring and when they did they went with flooring of their choice limiting the options despite being told for me to provide them SKUs. I absolutely hate the flooring and was told it would be done professionally. Instead they sent their personal workers who have no licensing him flooring and made them use their own personal tools. While doing the flooring my furniture was manhandled , not covered and got full of saw dust, personal belongings were broken and they left holes in my wall. They eventually patched the holes but was never painted over . There was no communication. When they told me to miss work to be around they wouldn’t show and then when ide bring a concern up Kyle was extremely rude and treated me as if the entire situation was my fault. In the end they had their workers rush the process. The trimming was left looking horrible and today is completely coming off the wall. I was told if my flooring was done right the first time it would have never got water damage yet two months after my washer hose came out and some water got on the floor. After immediately cleaning it up the flooring they placed warped immediately. I am so disgusted with this place and the way they handled the situation. I still want to sue but they had me sign a paper saying I won’t sue them. I should have never signed it. I had a huge lawsuit in my hands but I avoided it as I didn’t want to deal with it at the time . There’s so much about the process that was distressing such as even having to relocate my 92 year old grandfather as they left my home in disarray. TIL this day I hold so much frustration and disgust with the company and will never be happy with my home again unless I pay out my own pocket to replace everything . If there’s another company you can use and care about their customers please use them. Note that the arguement I got when I asked for floor replacement after they ruined my floor was I should be happy as they fired the guy. I hate the guy lost his job but it still didn’t fix my situation. Not sure if a lawsuit can still be filed since I signed that paper. I’ll likely seek legal counsel as it continues to haunt me.

Very well. I have had Universal H2O systems come to my house annually to do the above work. The worker is always courteous and efficient. I really appreciate the work so that I feel more confident about having a clean and working RO system. I would recommend this company to anyone.

The guys that installed our system were friendly, personable, professional and very helpful with any questions or concerns that we had. I was really impressed with their care and concern, especially to attention to detail, that my wife and I had in this process.

Several months ago we had a routine service check up on our EcoWater softener.  The technician said that we might need a major repair soon and to keep an eye out for leaks.  We did and it did.  We had an overflow of brine that spread to nearby carpeting causing a crust of salt that took a couple of visits from a professional carpet cleaner service to clean it up.  When a technician came to determine the reason for the overflow, he took a few things apart and said that repairs would cost $450-500 with no explanation other than it was "worn out",  but they would be happy to sell me a new unit for $4000.  Since I can replace the unit locally for 15% of that price, Home Depot gets our business.
My major concerns with them are that the first technician did not repair the unit when he recognized  the possibility of failure and the second technician didn't offer a reason for the failure and created a new brine leak that we are dealing with until we can get the unit replaced.

For what I am paying for this "premier" watering conditioning system, I could have had a new tank less water heater and a new furnance.  I would have liked to have had more time in the home to assess the water condition and researched the other companies out in the market.
I feel that I have been really taken advantage.  One week of living in a new house does not allow you enough time to assess everything you need to make a financial investment.

After already having spent several thousand dollars on a water filtration system (which works fine), we continued to get sales calls for new filtration tubes. The woman on the phone quoted us at $80-90.00.  When the gentleman provided the service, the bill came out to over $200.  Agitated, we contacted the billing department at Universal and spoke with Larry, a supervisor. He insisted that the sales reps were supposed to advise of parts as well as labor costs. Although he admitted that there may have been an oversight when it came to disclosing an accurate cost of the visit, he failed to offer any kind of concession to soften our sticker shock. Larry was also quite dismissive and fairly defensive when he spoke with my wife.  She felt that Larry spoke over her and was unwilling to acknowledge his staff's error. I would not recommend Universal Water Systems to anyone that expects to know what they will pay for products or services.
Response from UNIVERSAL WATER SYSTEMS
"We are sorry that the customer feels mislead. The labor charge is 95.00 plus parts and filters. The customer always has the choice of purchasing the filters in our store and installing them. I Larry has worked with me for years and is always very polite to customers. Reading the complaint it appears that the husband wrote it. He did not speak to larry. He is getting his information second hand, therefore he has no idea as to Larry's tone of voice, or how the conversation went. Universal Water Systems wishes to have no dissatisfied customers. Should this customer decide to give us a second chance in the future, we will try harder to meet her expirations."

We bought a house already equipped w/Eco water softener. Universal performed routine maintenance twice. The service price was high, but work ok. Then the unit malfunctioned. The Universal service guy did some work and handed us a $350 bill. Within 30 min of his departure, it was clear he had damaged the system and water began flooding. We called the co. and they sent someone else, who handed us another large bill. And it still wasn't fixed. We tried to find someone else to service the unit and learned that Universal is the only authorized dealer in the area and no one else can get the parts. We requested refunds for the high-priced not just worthless but damaging service calls. We replaced the unit ourselves with one from Lowes that cost less than even one repair bill from Universal/EcoWater. After reporting this to better business bureau and the state attorney general, Universal/Ecowater refunded the repair money. The replacement water softener has been working fine.

"I am sorry that this lady is so bitter. She could have called and spoken to me, and we would have been glad to rectify any issue."

WE LIKE IT BECAUSE THEY HAVE A SERVICE THAT YOU DO HAVE TO PAY FOR, BUT IT IS WORTH IT. THEY COME OUT AND CHECK YOU FILTERS AND BRING THE CHEMICALS NEEDED. THEY DID A GREAT JOB AT INSTALLING THE WATER SOFTENER SYSTEM.
