only did they do a poor job with the installation, they did nothing to address the issue and started avoiding taking the responsibility. We are very dissatisfied with the service. If you are interested in artificial turf installation, please do not use SynLawn. We requested the turf to be laid out in a semi-circle shape. However, after SynLawn installed the turf, we
discovered that one side of the semi-circle edge looked baldy/missing grass. This looked like a result of poor cutting (based
on the shape) done on the edge. We reported the matter to Chris, the person in SynLawn who gave us the
estimate. When he came out to inspect it, he said this was typical to see for this particular kind of turf. Chris said, if we had ordered a more expensive turf, this would not be an issue, as the high end grass has more density. However, the problem we have is not due to the density of the turf because our problem only occurs on the edges and this looks more like a result due to poor workmanship. My husband who has a M.S. in Engineering had a hard time understanding Chris? reasoning and found his excuse to be illogical. Even if Chris? argument was true, shouldn?t he have warned us from the beginning that this particular turf manufactured by SynLawn would have such problems? If this product has these kind of issues, why does Synlawn still make a turf that cannot be installed correctly? Chris said he simply cannot do anything about this issue even though we have warranty
on it. There was no apology and no resolution about this situation. We were very dissatisfied with Chris and the company. We are sure there are better alternatives out in the market that would be willing to take up responsibilities.
