I expected the roof to be done a half at a time but they rearranged dates to complete the work all at once. Every person was specialized as this is not an easy roof job. The foreman explained the newest products on the underlayment and how it worked. The tiles on the edges were custom cut and lined up beautifully. Clean up was ongoing. Only one spot on my grass. Any extra tiles were left with me.

Phone calls not returned, payment required in advance, Work crew did not clean up after work done. damage to property removed from the roof. Extremely poor product and or workmanship. If you need roofing work done save your time and money hire a professional not Sun Rise. They advertise Quality product and workmanship. I believe nether is true. If you do want to go with them please don't pay in advance. Only pay when the job is completed to your satisfaction.

I began the search for a roofer some eighteen months before discovering SunRise Roofing through a recommendation by Chris Leonards at RWC roofing supply. Over the past 26 years, RWC has always pointed me to the right people to help me with my flat roof issues. I did not want a tear off losing the insulation value of the old polyurethane foam roof applied back in 1975. All the roofers except those who did silicone said I would require a costly tear off. Some of the roofers recommending TPO admitted that the heat sealed seams of TPO applications require periodic inspections and maintenance, and TPO can be penetrated if something like a swamp cooler panel corner is accidentally dropped or carelessly sat down on the membrane. Moreover, a TPO application requires gluing or nailing, or both to secure the membrane to the roof decking, and after a tear off, additional repairs may be required before application. My roof was solid to walk on and only minor leaks had developed 25 years after a bituminous overlay of the foam applied in 1975. Over 45 years, the foam compressed, causing ponding resulting in the canale basins becoming higher than the average plane of the roof. So, I considered a silicone application which withstands ponding and does not require a tear off. Hence, SunRise was recommended. Upon calling SunRise, Daisy advised me SunRise no longer was doing silicone applications due to discovering a superior, tougher new roof application, Ecodur, manufactured by Castagra. See: [*** Link removed ***] After investigating TPO, silicone, poly-elastomers, tar and gravel, and torch down, I settled on the Ecodur, applying two layers with polyester fabric embedded between and no tear off required. This results in a seamless, flexible bond which is impossible to tear without using a power saw, industrial scissors and box cutters; is difficult to penetrate unless using a hammer and nails; withstands ponding; is maintenance free and easy to permanently patch or repair in the extreme unlikelihood of damage. Ecodur finishes like a dance floor! Compared to other roofing materials, it's like science fiction. As a do it yourself kind of guy, in most of my experience, others doing work for me usually leave something to be desired after declaring the work finished. SunRise Roofing is the exception to this. After agreeing to the cost and the simple straight forward terms of warranty, for extra measure, SunRise's crew custom formed various shapes of channels to shed and direct water toward and out the canales, virtually eliminating the extensive ponding which served to break down the roof since owning the house; this, despite Ecodur being able to withstand ponding. Martin Nevarez, the owner of Sunrise welcomed my participation, suggestions and applications of my own knowledge regarding the roof I have lived under and maintained since 1972. Martin and all his employees acted as my partners in getting the job done to my standards or better. Moreover, without exception, his business operates like a family, and after working with his superb crew, I couldn't help but feel that I had become a part of the SunRise family as well. Everyone at SunRise acted in behalf of my interests and were not satisfied until I was. The results are what I would have wanted to achieve if I had to do the work myself; I can offer no higher praise than that. Professional. Specialized. I had a leak and the owner, Larry, did the inspection. However, he moved some tiles to try and cover the leaking spot even though I had not hired him yet! Because of their packed schedule, I expected to split the installation with months in between. Surprise - they showed up and announced they would complete the whole roof! I liked that the individuals were specialized in their part of the project. Noise was minimal. I was at home during the process. They were careful to keep the debris in their trailer. Tarps even covered the driveway. The tile was custom cut on site as needed. I planned a whole week and it was finished in four days. The office staff was always available to answer my questions. This was a good experience.

Larry showed up to do an estimate and we decided to do the section of our Spanish tile roof that was leaking. I worked with Marjorie to get the details of the project worked out and set a date for the work to begin. She was very accommodating and listened to our concerns. She made sure the workers covered our outdoor tiled patios so that it wouldn't get damaged. They began a day early as their schedule opened up early. The work has been going well so we asked if they could do the whole roof. They made that happen. We have been very pleased with them overall. Marjorie is a rock star at her job. She really understands customer service. The workers worked hard the whole time they were here. We would recommend them to anyone who needs a new roof. They do good work and warranty it. Refreshing for us to witness a company who wants to do a good job.

Owner was very professional as was all i dealt with from their company. Prompt evaluation of damage. Quoted repair cost within 1 day. Repair was scheduled promptly within a week. The crew arrived as stated on time. Work crew was very professional and courteous. The work was completed the same day and the crew cleaned up all debris and left my yard spotless. I recommend this company highly and would hire them again if the need was to arise. One of the best contractors I have ever dealt with.

Larry and Manuel were very personable. Work was completed in a timely manner.. I would definitely recommend. Hopefully Larry will come again so that he can take pictures and I can see results of the work.

This company operates in a very professional, business-like manner,  keeping appointments on time and following through with what they said they'd do.  They very quickly and efficiently finished my roof in one day leaving no mess whatsoever.  I'd hire them again in a heartbeat.

Among other things, TPO seams were tight, pitch was consistently improved, and the worksite was left in a pristine state. Custom work on the mansard roof's coping metal is nothing short of extraordinary.

Clint Roberts came over the day I contacted them and after a complete inspection and explanation, we arranged to have the roof replaced. He was very helpful in arranging everything. They were here within 2 weeks and only took 8 hours to do all the work and clean up. The guys were awesome- fast and professional.

We purchased a deal through Angie's List that included a roof inspection and minor maintenance. The inspector called within days of our purchase to schedule the inspection. He identified the work to be done, including showing us pictures of the damage to be repaired. We received an estimate about a week later and immediately scheduled the work. Originally, Sunrise said they were scheduling repairs for about six weeks out. But when we expressed concern about an active leak they said they would try to fit us in sooner should another job take less time than anticipated. They came about a week later with a full crew and completed all repairs within a matter of hours. We have had two days of rain since then and no leaks. I would recommend this company.

The estimator was prompt and very professional. He worked with me to get me exactly the service I wanted. The production crew was professional and prompt. They went the extra mile to do quality work and make sure I was happy. I would use them again and will recommend.

I received a proposal, with pricing, very promptly. A date for the work was quickly agreed upon: the three-person roofing team arrived as agreed and on time. They worked quickly and smoothly, finishing by mid-day, cleaning up the work site as necessary. I watched the process throughout. These were craftsmen who, most notably, seemed to enjoy the work they were doing. Obviously they had a lot of experience in working together as a team since everything was done so efficiently. They did not just re-caulk cracks around the roof penetrations, but rather, removed tiles two to three feet back from each penetration, replacing underlayment, and resealing everything. A leak of many years has already passed a heavy rain test. Extra work above and beyond the original proposal was needed and completed. When I offered to pay more Sun Rise refused! This is unheard of care for the customer. I couldn't be more satisfied. This is a great company to deal with.

The new roof was installed quickly and very professionally, and for a price that couldn't be beat! Their price was actually much cheaper than other estimates received, and their price included removing the old roof - while the other providers wanted to cut corners and merely shingle over the old roof!  On Day 1 they tore off the old roof and prepped for the new roof, and by Day 2 the new roof was beautifully installed. They were prompt, cheerful & courteous, and kept things tidy as they worked. We couldn't be happier with this provider and highly recommend their services!

  After receiving bids from the first six roofers named on Angie's List, we chose Sun Rise Roofing for a number of reasons. We liked the proposal, which described the needed changes in detail. We also liked the estimated cost, which was neither too high or too low. They were able to schedule us in a timely manner. They also were able to show us pictures of other jobs they'd done, as well as supply addresses of residences which had the same treatment of the parapets, so we could see how well it looked.
  The team showed up as scheduled, and got right to work. All the debris from the old roof was disposed of, and they swept up after each days work. Often, they stayed until it got too dark to work.
  We were lucky to have excellent weather during the process, and then, when it was done, we had a good storm for testing the result. Minor issues were then addressed to our satisfaction.
  All in all, I found the team to be hard working and responsive, so much so that I've contracted for an annual inspection and maintenance program.

They did a great job, and the roof turned out better than I could have expected. They also installed curbs around the skylights and had Advanced Skylight Systems install five new skylights on the roof. They cleaned up s that you cannot tel that they were there.
