STAR PAVING

Upon recommendation of my builder, I hired Star to pave my driveway once my new home was completed.  After a few months, large (large) depressions  (like six feet round) began to form in the driveway that held water up to several inches deep.  I called Star and they eventually did come out and "patch" the depressions.  Ok, I was happy with that.
Shortly thereafter, chunks of the asphalt started breaking away from the edges of the driveway.  They were about the size of a dinner plate.  I called Star and left a message.  No returned calls.  I waited several months as it was Summer and I suspected it was their busy time.  I called again and got hold of the owner, Joe, on the phone.  He was incredibly short, mean (like a bully) when I reminded him of my problem.  I was kind of shocked because I did not expect him to be so curt when I politely explained my problem.  He said he would send someone out to look at it and pretty much hung up on me.
I waited for several months and still nothing.  In desperation, I contacted my builder who sent Joe an e-mail about the problem.
No response from Joe.  Nothing. I finally talked to my builder today and he said that he will never use Joe or Star Paving again nor would he recommend them to anyone else.  He said that if Joe didn't respond to his e-mail, he wasn't going to respond to me.
So, $8000. later, I'm stuck with a driveway that frankly, is a mess.  I've tried to be nice and work this out but all I"m getting from Star is a brick wall.  I'd have to say that I am very disappointed in them and their attitude.  I would never never use them as they do not provide a satisfactory product.  Enough said.......
