My car was at this shop for over two months.
I was told tuning was going to be pretty quick and not a big deal, we ran into a small snag with a wast gate spring. I told them to go ahead with the one on the car.
At first the car got worked on, but the more the car was at the shop the more it got pushed back and sat outside and on the back burner.
I would stop by and ask how things are going and I would get a run around of excuses, of why it had not been worked on or reasons they had to finish other cars first.
After two months of me seeing my car sit outside most of the time. I decided to take my car back. The shop owner was very unhappy. Giving me a laundry list of why he was having problems, " I am sick, oh this happened, oh we ran into this. "
I was told of what work was done too the car.
After getting the car back, I took pictures immediately, the inside was trashed and covered in dirt from the window being left open.
I now have a HUGE scratch across my hood from what looks like a box was placed on top then dragged across.
The following Monday, I took my car to another shop in town, we had two hour meeting of what has to be done to the car to correct the " work " that had been done by this shop. they even have to install parts / sensors I was told where already installed.
I feel as if I was taken advantage of and given the run around.

I first went to SpeedLab to see a car for sale, a 1972 BMW Bavaria 3.0. I bought the car from Brody, the owner. It needed some work, and I had him work on the carburetors, and several other things. Every time the car needed any service, I took it to SpeedLab. I also own a 1999 BMW 540i station wagon, and Brody took over trying to fix it after 2 other shops had failed. The first shop replaced the engine but messed up the transmission - they are now out of business, so no one to sue. They sent it to a second shop and that shop could not get it to work properly either. Since that time, the replacement engine was no good, so Speedlab replaced the engine for me (again!), and is still working on the transmission issue. I have now purchased a 2009 Jeep Patriot as my every day vehicle, and Brody has replaced the alternator under warranty as well as done several oil changes on it. Brody has also worked on my 1975 Porsche 914 and my 1976 Porsche 914. The prices are fair, the work is done in a professional manner and done on time - even with hard to locate parts.

What I like about them is that they specialize in speed and their knowledge. I would use them again if I have to.
