Fireplace Service
$2,500
I bought a brand new home and Southwest Firebird installed a fireplace. The fireplace constantly turned off on its own and when it did work the fire was very low and could barely be seen. I called and they sent a very nice man who tried to fix it. Well it still was not fixed and the next guy Firebird sent was very rude and tried to intimidate me. The fireplace was still not fixed. Each time I scheduled an appointment for them to come and work on the fireplace I had to wait the whole day because they were never sure on what time they could arrive. On one occassion the service guy never showed up. I called the Manager/Owner and he was very unprofessional and told me to get over it so he can make a new appointment. He yelled and cursed at me and I asked him if I could talk to someone else. He said he was the owner and continued yelling. So, I called the home builders responsible for hiring Southwest Firebird. By this time I was in tears and the homebuilders were also very frustrated because it was not fixed after 2 years. So the homebuilders called a meeting with Southwest Firebird and they came to the conclusion to give me a new fireplace because the fireplace I had was recalled because it had so many problems. So on the day I was suppose to get my new fireplace the manufacturers of the fireplace came out and decided that they were not going to give me a new fireplace, instead they had one of there own techs come and fix it. Well, it does not turn off anymore but it still looks rediculous when you turn it on. It barely puts up a flame.
