Not well at all. He had a young guy with him who did most of the work, with him yelling at him most of the time. One of the shelves was installed crooked. They dropped one of the cabinets and still installed it. He said he would replace that cabinet because it had damages. It took me calling him after weeks of not hearing from him and then a couple of weeks before he came out again with the replacement cabinet. He had another young guy with him. He installed the cabinet but the cabinet had rough edges and the doors have a gap between them. The quality of both cabinets was below par. They also chipped one of the shelves he had previously installed. He also did not bring the shelves that go with the cabinets and a bracket that he was going to install on one of the shelves. I was out of town and told him when I got back I would contact him. I contacted him earlier this week telling him I was very dissatisfied with the cabinets and wanted them replaced. I have yet to hear back from him. I had already paid him the second half owed him with him promising to get the job completed by replacing the damaged cabinet. I guess I have learned my lesson not to pay the balance until I am completely satisfied.

We contacted Alejandro (David) Arguello in August 2012 to explore the possibility of making two queen size wallbeds for our new home. He was very agreeable and we met to discuss it. My husband and I wanted southwestern style cabinet-like furniture that would allow us to use two rooms of our home as an office and craft room.
David was very agreeable and enthusiastic about the southwestern theme. After we visited his workshop and home and saw a wallbed he had made and photos of lots of other furniture., we engaged him to make ours. David and his assistant Fernando were really wonderful to work with. We were allowed to and quot;designand quot; the outside look of the wallbeds, choose the wood, accent colors, conchos, and hardware. I wanted a fold-down table attached to the front of one, side cabinets, and nightstands. David came to our new house to take precise measurements. He made great suggestions, such as pull out shelf for the nightstands. He kept us informed all along the process and invited us to visit his workshop several times to observe and make minor decisions.
It only took about one month for the beds to be made and installed in our home. We could not be happier! They are beautiful and each one is the focus of the room. He took our timeline seriously and he and Fernando worked very hard to install the beds before our open house. in early October.
We highly recommend David Arguello of Slide-a-Shelf for the quality of construction and material, and also the wonderful and personable attitude toward our project. Can't say enough about them. They are fair, fast, and friendly.
We really feel we got superior products from them.

"First of all we don't cut corners, this particular bed was ordered in Oak and that is what we used, except for three frames (guts) which are made of pine but you don't see them, they are structural. I do however explain that to my customer. As for the table and frame collapsing, this is the first time I hear about it, (deleted member name) never called me to inform me. I would have returned to service whatever mishap there was had she informed me. As far as "deameaning workers", there was only one helper and I didn't yell at him or treat him unprofesionally, I was mearlly telling him what to do in a firm manner since he had a propensity to want to do it his way. This was his first time installing a bed, so he was just helping to install, yes, my way. As far as mattress, I was only joking that with such a nice mattress her guests would never leave and we did install heavier duty pistons. I only wish that (deleted member name) had called me with the problem that she had because we stand behind our product 100%. David Arguello"
