Sheila's Canine Care

Sheila is the best pet sitter I have ever hired. She is there when she says she will be there, she is great about keeping me informed of all that happens with pets (old cranky dog and 2 cats) and spends time with them to boot. I am so pleased to have found Sheila's Canine Care!

Shelia and Nate were always on time and did exactly as instructed. They took excellent care of our two Scotties while we were out of town for a week. Nate is a responsible young man who kept us informed on the status of the dogs. Shelia shows compassion with dogs and we will hire again.

Sheila is great with my dog and I have been using her for several years now. My dog is always happy to see her, and she gives great updates on how he is doing during her visits. I would recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and friendly pet-sitter or dog walker!

Sheila returned my call immediately, said because of other commitments she wouldn’t be able to help with pet sitting, but said she had a colleague who might be able to. Her colleague, Nate Goode, called immediately and we arranged both pet sitting jobs. During both, Nate treated our dogs as his own, and took care of them and the house with great care. He loved the dogs, and they loved him back. At almost the end of the six-night vacation, we had to ask Nate to stay longer as we were visiting family in the Florida Panhandle and Hurricane Michael was on its way. Because we evacuated with our family who were under a mandatory evacuation order, we weren’t able to return home for another eight days. Nate was able to stay with our dogs during that time and assured us that all was well with them and our home, and he’d stay with them as long as we needed. Nate gave us peace of mind during a very trying time and we can never thank him, and Sheila for recommending him, enough.

I can't say enough good things about Sheila's professionalism and the personal care she obviously brings to her work. We started out having her walk our dog three times a week, then soon increased it to five times a week after seeing how happy and how much healthier our dog became in a very short time. Our dog sits eagerly watching the front door well before time for Sheila to arrive (she's always very punctual), and recognizes the sound of Sheila's car before it even reaches the driveway. Sheila's price for such excellent, reliable service is quite reasonable, and her integrity and commitment are unassailable. We're so glad to have retained her service, especially as we're both disabled and unable to do this for our dog ourselves. Thank you, Sheila!

She is great! I initially hired her to walk my dogs but she's been able to train a troubled dog of mine as well. She's cares for them everyday.

My mother-in-law has two large dogs that she has been unable to walk lately due to her health problems. I went in search of a dog walker and found Sheila here on Angie's List. Boy was that our lucky day! My husband and I live in Florida so had to arrange everything long distance, hiring her for six hours of her services a week. Sheila has not only made two cooped up dogs very happy, she has extended herself beyond just dog walking to help my mother-in-law around the house. She always texts us to let us know when she arrives at the house and when she leaves; she then emails us an in-depth assessment of how her visit went, complete with pictures. My mother-in-law is a distrustful person but really likes Sheila and looks forward to every visit from this caring, sweet and reliable woman.

Sheila is the most reliable dog sitter I could ask for. I work 12 hr days sometimes 7 days a week and needed someone who I could absolutely trust. Every time I came home my dog was happy and fed. Sheila said she would come by to walk and feed my pup twice a day. (Which is an understatement. Sometimes I think she came by 4 times just because my dog loves her so much). For a brief duration I needed Sophie to go to the vet once a week; and I had to lean on Sheila as her schedule could accommodate. I couldn't be more happy!! What a great person and friend! ???

Most excellent. Sheila is flexible, punctual, wonderful to work with, and amazing with animals. My dog loves her and waits by the door everyday for Sheila to come and walk her!

She is fantastic. She's very caring about my dog, and she will take him on fun little walks all the time, even though I just ask her to walk him around the block. My dog absolutely loves her. She's very caring and loving with animals. If anything comes up and I can't be home, she's very willing to come check on him for me. I completely trust her with my dog and in my house. Little Zeb loves her. Every time I go back to work I hire her to watch him.
