Sandia Sunrooms & Windows

I bought two Marvin entry doors for my house. The doors were of high quality and well made. But my experience with installation was a nightmare. The doors were special ordered and arrived in January. The installation wasn't done until June, and only after I gave up on a screen that we ordered with one of the doors. The first screen didn't fit. Then Sandia Sunrooms tried to cut it down to fit and scratched the frame badly and produced terrible mitered cuts at the corners. An entirely new screen was ordered, and it didn't fit either. Crews were at my house at least 8 times, and Sandia Sunrooms blamed Marvin. I finally just gave up on the screen. The doors are nice and function well, but I would not recommend Sandia Sunrooms for installation. Another point worth mention is that Sandia Sunrooms handled the sale and took the detailed measurements at my home to order the doors. After that, the project manager visited my house one time at the beginning of the project and once at the end to collect final payment. Otherwise, they subbed all the work out to subcontractors. So the actual work performed by Sandia Sunrooms was just the initial measurements to order the doors.

Sandia Sunrooms & Windows did an excellent job replacing all of our windows and our front door. The whole experience was wonderful. We have had several remodels over the past 25 years and this project went more smoothly than any other previous big project. Eric and Jacob in the showroom and at our in home assessment were knowledgeable, patient, transparent and fair when figuring out the details and pricing. The windows are super high quality and energy efficient. JR, Adrian & Brian installed the windows perfectly! Their work was meticulous and beautiful. I so appreciate their attention to detail, maintaining the home’s 1940’s charm by rebuilding bullnose around the windows and keeping the wooden windowsills intact. The stucco crew matched our existing stucco perfectly! And everyone was punctual, respectful, and extremely clean. Leaving the site better than how they found it. We are very pleased. Highly recommend.
