We have used RPM several times and feel that it is a fair deal.  In this case, the problem was somewhat elusive.  We have a 2003 Honda Element that has had a few off road experiences where I got out of the car while my husband drove over something (he thought it was safe, I didn't).  So, it wasn't too surprising when we started hearing a grinding, transmission?, axle?, suspension?, sound.   Although they fixed at least part of the problem, they told us that if we still thought it wasn't right, it would probably involve a more expensive repair.  Since they weren't hearing exactly what we described, they replaced the bearing that was definitely bad and we were fine with that.   It's hard to get excited about paying $340, but we appreciate the fact that they didn't just go for the more expensive repair right away.

Work promptly done, problems fixed

Very professional work.  Figured out that a broken light bulb was root the cause of my airbag problem rather than just trying to replace random components.  No BS and very fair. I'll be back.

My husband thought that there was something wrong, but it turned out to be fine.  They were very honest about it.

We were very impressed with the work performed.  The owner was extremely honest and only charged us for the tire rotation which was fair as we had not purchased the tires there.  In addition, I was pleased that he willing brought me back home after I had left the pickup for the work to be done.

The Miata has about 95,000 miles.  It has (had) a water leak, needs rear struts and could use an alignment.  There is only so much that we can afford to do at once.   Suddenly the Miata stars to idle very roughly.  Took the Miata to RPM and get a call that the idle has been fixed and it was a minor repair so I ask "How about the rear struts" thinking that I might be able to afford them also.  Mr. Dischinger politely suggests that "maybe it would be a better idea to fix the water leak first".  A nice ride and better handling are a good thing but an overheated engine might be bad.  Needless to say, the struts can wait and we got the radiator fixed. RPM NEVER performs work without prior approval.  If they find something unexpected they always call first and never assume that it is OK to spend your money without checking first.   Mr. Dischinger and RPM Automotive have been working on my cars for 20 years and unless it is warranty work I don't go anywhere else.  My wife, who is highly educated but not very mechanical will happily take her car to RPM without me being present.  She feels comfortable that they are straight forward, honest and don't try to take advantage of the fact that she wants her car to work but doesn't care how it works.  

They are guardian angels when it comes to taking care of my Toyota. They are reliable and honest. I live right by there and I usually drop my car off there and somebody runs me back home then when it's done they come get me. I don't ever feel like I have been overcharged like have been at some other places.

They did what the promised at the price quoted. They are honest, and only did the work required. They did not try to talk me into unnecessary repairs. I also got a senior discount.

They have always been good to me.
