I had to call them back several times and had to clean up a lot of the debris myself. Now there's a subcontracted company calling to tell me there's a lien on my home because he hasn't paid his workers.

David delivered exactly what he promised. Oh yeah, this is important, the work is guaranteed for 1 year! I don't think most roofers offer that with their repair work.

I called 3 companies(all from Angie's list) for bids. Yoder was the most expensive, almost double of others. But we hired him to do the work because he was the most professional. We won't know till it rains but we are happy w/ every other aspect of dealing w/ him. He did give us a warranty and he did have references. The other companies I called(also from Angie's list) were guys who had just bought the company name and this would have been their first job under the company's name.
