Music Instruction
My son was hesitant to try something new and saw music lessons as a bit scary. We had a piano and an electric guitar so these were his choices. So glad to find a place that would let a kid start out on electric guitar as we did not have buying an acoustic guitar in our budget. Now after 8 weeks he is getting ready to perform at his first concert next weekend and is feeling comfortable taking on this new challenge of learning to play music. He takes weekly lessons with Gage who he likes and just a had a lesson with Kevin Herig, the Director of Rock 101, since Gage was on vacation and thought Kevin was really really great. So glad we found a place this place as they just started regular music lessons this year. They have run a summer rock camp for a bit and just recently ventured into weekly lessons. Their lessons are convenient to the NE Heights as they are using performance rooms off of a "coffee house" music space on the bottom level of St Stephen's United Methodist Church on Juan Tabo between Spain and Montgomery very close to the CNM Campus. It is clean and comfortable to wait during the lessons.
