Family owned and operated since 2004 with over 20 years of experience. We replace and service heating and cooling systems in the home and business. RMS Services repairs and installs furnaces, refrigerated air, evaporative coolers, heat pumps, radiant heating, boilers, mini-split systems, water heaters, tankless water heaters, and sheet metal fabrication. Scott is excellent. He is thorough, professional and extremely knowledgeable. His workers are also excellent. Our project was completed in a timely fashion. We would definitely hire him again.

Office staff personable and professional; same with service team that came to annually check our furnace, A/C and tankless hot-water systems. Price seemed competitive. Polite, explained what they were doing, answered questions, gave options without pressure, and made sure work site was returned to pre-work condition.

Don't let them fool you! I was quoted a price of $95 with a 5% discount for being an Angies list customer. They didn't mention that its $95 plus labor. I ended up paying 50% more than what I was quoted for a half hour furnace job. The installers were great and very professional, but I would not hire again because I can't trust the price they quote over the phone.

"Hello [Member Name Removed], I am sorry that you feel that you were misguided by our quote and actual charge. The quote you were told over the phone was $95 to diagnose plus labor and/or parts to fix any problems found with a 5% discount. We double checked with our office manager to make sure that is what was quoted, she confirmed. Our technician diagnosed an intermittent no heat complaint, which is where the $95 charge to diagnose occurred. The technician then proceeded to correct the problem, which is where the labor charge occurred(around $45). Somewhere there was a misunderstanding on the quote. When you explained to our technician what you believed to be an over charge, he offered to discount the overall charge. You did not except his offer and explained to him that you would be giving us a bad review on Angie's List due to the over charge. We DID try to correct the problem with the charge before leaving the job but you refused any amendment. Again, I believe there was a misunderstanding from customer, office manager, to technician. We are glad that you thought our technicians were professional and provided great work, as stated in your review. I am sorry we could not come to a resolution with the overall charge, even though our technician tried. We are not in the business of over charging our customers and pride ourself in great customer service, technical service, and reasonable prices. Our customers have been with us for many years due to our promise of reasonable prices, guarantee of labor, and proficiency and efficiency of our technicians. Overall, very well. One A/C unit froze up, the other had a Freon leak. Both were fixed to get the units up and running again; however, a full service and Freon change out will be needed as it hasn't been down in many years.

I met Scott and his assistant for the first time today. They were both very friendly, informative and professional in the servicing of my air conditioner. He went above and beyond to inform me about our system and he is a true gentleman. The price was extremely fair.

An excellent company to work with. They live up to their reviews on Angie's list. Selena was prompt in returning all calls and getting services organized. She kept me up-to-date regarding scheduling and when they'd be arriving. Scott came out the first day to help me problem solve why we didn't have hot water and not only explained how to get the pilot light going on the water heater, but also inspected it, the furnace and the swamp coolers for maintenance. He tightened up some lose bolts on the furnace to make it run quieter, but also saving extensive repairs in the future. He took the time to make sure I knew what needed to be done for routine maintenance as well. Incidentally, he also found a possible gas leak and checked for that too. Really good service, professional and thoughtful. Fabian came out the next week to get our swamp coolers up and going. Again, showed up exactly on time, took care of the work efficiently and accurately. So appreciate this company and will keep on using them in the future.

Really great services. At the time of estimate, RMS technicians carefully listened to our needs and provided several options to address. On the day of installation, the workers called ahead to say they were on their way, arrived at the scheduled time and worked efficiently to complete the install in about 2.5 hours. Very satisfied with the company and the cooler.

I HIGHLY recommend Scott Shepherd, owner of RMS Services. He's very honest, does EXCELLENT work, and his prices are reasonable. As I stated above, I've had Scott do work for me a few times, including an emergency replacement of my water heater that he did with only about an hour notice, on a Saturday! I've also referred Scott to some of my neighbors, on our 'Nextdoor', neighborhood website. Scott took the time to thoroughly evaluate the situation, in fact he returned two or three times to give us the best possible estimate and get everything in place prior to starting the job. They showed up on time, quickly set up the swamp cooler and had it running better than it had ever run before. I will never listen to my husband moan and groan about the swamp cooler again...I will have RMS come and do it for me. P.S. I liked that it is a small local family operation!

There were 15 roof penetrations for venting and the old system in the house was removed and replaced on the roof. Our system has been operational for 2 1/2 months and has been very satisfactory. The owner and employees were all very professional and competent.

Scott and his crew did a great job. They were punctual, and I did not have to be there for most of the installation. I had no problem not being there. They removed my old swamp cooler, hauled it away, and installed a new Mastercool on the roof. It works great, and they were done in 1/2 day. I will definitely hire them again in the future.
