I first called Mr. Rick Armijo a year ago to replace and update the fluorescent lighting in my kitchen.  He made excellent recommendations and we couldn't be happier with our new recessed lighting.   I lost power to the west wall of my residential house approximately six months ago.  I've been busy with work and travel.  I finally called Rick to help restore power to all of the outlets connected to that circuit breaker.  I called Rick because I trust him from his previous work in our kitchen.  Rick showed at 0800 on 11 Nov as scheduled.  He quickly took stock of the situation and diagnosed the problem as loose wires within several of my outlets shorting out the breaker.  If I only had one word to describe Rick, it would be conscientious.  If I had several words, I would include: honest, hardworking, and professional.  I am relieved and appreciate knowing that I can call someone that I can trust like Rick with such a sensitive area within my house.

Rick was courteous, on time, and seemed to know what he was doing. Unfortunately, the chandelier he hung had an internal flaw and would not function after Rick put it in place. This was not Rick's fault, just bad luck for us and a sign of the quality of items we purchase these days. We re ordered a second chandelier which arrived in about two weeks. We contacted Rick to re-install the new chandelier. Initially he seemed very open to doing this but decided not to perform the task when I mentioned to him that I would require an invoice from his company detailing the installation of the chandelier and need to replace the original non functioning fixture. This seemed like a reasonable request and was needed for the warranty replacement. Rick became very upset at this request and hung up the telephone. I called him back and asked what he was upset about and was basically told that he didn't like putting any information on an invoice and hung up again. I'm very confused about this, it was not expected and does not seem like professional behavior. I've since hired another electrician who provided the service quickly, efficiently, and provided me with all the information I needed without me having to ask. Go figure!
