"Although we take this complaint seriously, we are surprised by the nature of it. In particular, we have no record of any of our windows ever leaking water. The work completed date of 5/9/15 does not match our records which indicate our last order contact in 2012. In addition, we have no record of any service calls from this customer recently at our local office in Albuquerque. We will contact this customer as soon as possible to confirm the nature of her concerns and schedule a service call to address any issues. Our goal is to resolve any concerns to the customers satisfaction."
- Perhaps the most important thing is the quality of their windows and installation. With this there are no complaints, the quality of the windows and installation are outstanding. They truly are excellent windows built for the NM climate. We've had them for a few months now and they do indeed make a big difference. The installation went quickly, professionally with no messes left behind.
But not far behind the actual product is customer service which is where Reliant Capitol leaves a lot to be desired. The sales pitch is lengthy (over 2 hours) and not very fulfilling. Worse, once the sale is made the salesman drops you like a bad habit forcing you to work with the office in Phoenix who don't care anything about you. When they did install the windows they didn't obscure the glass in our bathroom so it needed to be replaced. Again, not one person took ownership of this problem in the company and only after 6 or 7 calls by us to the Phoenix office did we get it resolved. There literally isn't any "customer service", you only talk with installers and schedulers. There also wasn't any apologies or regret on their end, never mind it took over 2 months to get the wrong window replaced.
I love the windows, they are great. But I won't go back to them because I can't trust them to do things right.
"Although we are pleased with this customers satisfaction with our product and installation, we regret their specific negative experience with the service for the replacement piece of glass. This mistake should not have occurred. It is clear by the expressive nature of their complaint that the slow to respond service process was upsetting for them. This we take seriously. To prevent such issues in the future we have changed our service request process to be more locally monitored. This, we feel, will better expedite our customers service needs on the rare occasions that a service call may occur. Regarding the sales process time at the home, this is a function of the customers questions, the job complexity and various package options a customer may want to investigate. It is always our desire to neither under serve nor over serve our clients. We believe the sales consultation should be meaningful and add value to the overall experience with our company. We will take this feedback constructively and relay it to our sales staff. . Finally, we will notify this customer that if they do consider us for a project in the future we will offer them an additional 10% discount up to a value of $500.00 on any future work as compensation for their trouble"
The most recent problem occurred when we had a failed window that crystallized for no reason (December 2013). Even though we were not at fault and windows are supposed to be covered under warranty, the company claims that the glass and installation are not covered under the warranty, only the frames. This was certainly not represented to us this way when we purchased the windows. The sales rep specifically told us that if our windows broke and it was a "window failure", the company would replace our windows at no cost to us. If this is not the case, the company should make it VERY clear when they sell the windows that the warranty does not cover the GLASS or the installation. It seems to me that the glass is part of a window. We have been very disappointed in the warranty coverage for our windows.
In addition, we are constantly getting phone calls from Reliant Capital sales reps trying to sell us windows. We have told them innumerable times that their company has already replaced all of our windows, but the calls continue. Seems like they should be able to take us off their list.
