"[Member Name Removed], We are very sorry about your experience. Although it was a "poor estimate", we did honor the price when you explained that the closet should have been included. We certainly take our commitments seriously, and wanted to make sure that your finished product was done in a craftsmanship manner without any additional costs. That was accomplished, but should have been done the first trip out."

"[Member Name Removed], We are very sorry for your experience. We appreciated your patience while we corrected the situation, and provided the additional flooring at our expense. Enjoy your flooring, and let us know if there is anything else that we can do. Lee Horwitz Rays Carpet One Store Manager"
I was initially put off by the long lead time quoted to me. However, when I told Laura I was in a hurry she put her foot on the gas and made the job happen in less than a week. Overall, I am pleased to have chosen Ray's.

"I hate to say it, but I will take an A-. I know there are things that we could improve on, no doubt. What I love about Angie's List is that customers let us know what we should be doing better and then we can make adjustments. It was a pleasure to work with you. Gabe"
"It is very difficult to get everything right all the time and when we make mistakes it is our goal to fix it as quickly as possible. Thanks for your understanding with the incorrect transition piece and thanks for your review. We look forward to working with you again. Gabe"
"Thank to this member for their review. There were some shipping delays with the hardwood and we appreciate your ability to understand the problem and give us the space to complete the project properly. It was a pleasure working with you."
"Dear Member, I understand your frustration, but it is necessary to give the full story of our relationship. We were not hired by you directly, we were hired by the company who built the subdivision in which you live. We have an entirely separate builder division which handles this part of our business and the logistics are entirely different. The scheduling, product choice, service work, and many other factors are controlled and managed by the general contractor that we work for. It is always our desire to limit the frustration any client may face, however when many new homes are being built, there are many inherent issues. The timelines on tract house construction are not entirely conducive to the end users overall satisfaction and so much of what we do depends on the trades before and after us. We will make sure that your experience causes changes in the way we communicate with all of our clients and we apologize for our lack in this area. Please keep in mind that our main goal is providing a product that will keep you happy for years and years beyond the initial installation and that we warranty our labor for the lifetime of the product. While there may have been initial frustration, we know that years from now it will pale in comparison with the durability and beauty of your floors. Thank you."
"Dear Member, Reviews like this are deeply disturbing to read. We work diligently at communicating both timelines, and product expectations to our clients and we feel we have let you down. When we removed the carpet in your room there were substantial issues with the cracks and the flatness of the concrete. This involved much more concrete preparation than was initially anticipated. This changed the scope of work substantially and it appears that this was not communicated to you. In the end what is most important to us is that you were delivered a quality product that is beautiful and enhances not just your home, but also your lifestyle. Sometimes this takes longer than we anticipate. We are continually working on our communication issues and again we apologize for how you felt. There is no doubt that what you commented about our installers is true. We agree wholeheartedly that they are the best crews in the state."
"Can I just say that you are awesome and we loved working with you. Enough said."
"It was a pleasure to work with you. It is always appreciated when a homeowner understands the complexity of running a service company and is willing to be patient and communicative when working through whatever issues may arise. We can't wait to do more wood floors in your home!"
