I'm trying to understand why very few service providers in Albuquerque seem to value customer service, or seem to be interested in repeat business. I reached out to Raby because my previous provider fell through. I had already picked out tile, and as it turned out, Raby had both of the tiles I wanted. The first person I dealt with seemed promising at first, but then he just quit communicating. I contacted Ralph-David, who had come out to take the measurements. It turns out he's the owner. I guess the first person was let go. Anyway, I had high hopes that this would now go well. Not so much. They don't believe in communicating. If they don't want to answer your emails/phone calls/texts, they don't. I started getting short, unprofessional answers to my questions. It took much longer than I thought it would, but I can't blame them for that, it was more likely the tile companies. The guys they sent to install were fantastic and did a spectacular job. Only good thing about this process. There were 2 spots where they missed the grout. I contacted Raby about it. No response, of course. I reached out a second time, and got a call letting me know they would send someone Friday at 3. I did get a text that day letting me know it would be 5 instead. 5:30, nobody here. I texted Mark. No response. I decided to go on with my day. I got home and found a card from the guys. I was out from about 5:45 to 6:30, so who knows when they showed up. I ended up doing it myself, which shouldn't have happened. I have more flooring to replace in my house. It will not be through Raby.
