LeRoy Ortiz arrived promptly when we requested an inspection of our flat roof. He was very patient in his review of the status of our roof. He clearly explained what needed to be done. His estimate was very reasonable. The maintenance work was efficiently done. His workers were quiet and respectful. After the work had been completed, LeRoy's performed a final roof inspection & answered our questions.

They resealed all penetrations and side walls and replaced the skylight.  Work was completed as promised.   Work appears of good quality..   Workers were very professional.

The crew was here about 3-4 hours. They did a thorough job as evidenced by tearing off all layers including layers underneath. We have not had any additional leaks since the roof was fixed. The cleanup was excellent. We highly recommend this company!

Prompt with the estimate -- including giving us coupons for 2 movie tickets for asking for an estimate.  Prompt work: finished in just a couple of days.  Professional: called to verify how we wanted a certain portion done.  Also, very clean; no debris left in the driveway or covering the landscaping; even used a magnet to be sure no nails were left on roof or around house.  Very fair price: honored the $300 coupon in Angie's List Monthly.  Would definitely use again.

I highly recommend Leroy Ortiz; he is quite frankly one of the most honest contractors I have ever met and hired.  When I had a severe leak in the dining room/kitchen area in December, he found that there were a couple of canales that had holes in them in that area that were causing not only the roof to leak in two areas, but also down through the walls in parts of the dining room and kitchen.  I had gotten ridiculous quotes from other contractors (like $1,000 and up!) who never even pinpointed the canales as the problem; they only focused on the roof.  When Leroy found the source of the leaks, he said that the roof is not even the problem and that I still have several good years left with it.  He also came out yesterday at my request to put sealant on all of the other canales just in case (for some weird reason, all of the canales had a couple of drill holes in them!).  Leroy is genuinely nice, caring about his customers, and gives the contracting profession a reputation boost with his honesty.  My only problem was dealing with his schedule; he's very busy, and I usually needed to bug him a couple of times before he would get here, but I'm sure if it were an emergency, he would not do that.  Besides, I have always found this to be an issue with contractors   He's always either answered his phone when I call or, if busy, he always calls back when I leave a voice mail.  I will definitely not use anyone else when it comes time to replace my roof; I trust him implicitly.

These folks really understand customer service. Quality Roofing replaced the roof on my mother's house as part of an estate sale, and they did an excellent and timely job. Leroy's service was very professional from the initial call, through the estimate/evaluation of our roof and to completion--very professional. He did not try to overprice the project and provided "extra" materials where needed on decking and flashing without charging extra. Most important, because we live out of town, Leroy worked with another family member, the insurance company, and the title company to get the job done without any hassles or delays. He did what he said he would do and more, in a timely and professional manner at a reasonable price. I would definitely recommend Leroy Ortiz and Quality Roofing to anyone needing roof repair or replacement.

A home inspection turned up a few minor roof repairs needed, which Leroy fixed, as well as a problem not found during the  inspection. When Leroy came to give a quote, I liked that he invited me up onto the covered patio's flat roof to show and explain a few things, such as how the roofing materials weren't extended to the edges as it should have been done. He gave helpful advice, answered all my questions, and provided an immediate quote which was very reasonable. As far as I can tell, the repairs were done well (I currently don't have a tall enough ladder to get onto the two-story roof). I highly recommend Leroy's Quality Roofing!

We had Quality Roofing replace our roof.  His price was VERY reasonable. Leroy Ortiz was professional and easy to work with.  They did a lot more than what was expected...he went the extra mile and replaced rotted wood at no extra charge.  Employees were courteous, polite, and cleaned up after themselves.  We've had plenty of moisture and NO leaks.  He was highly recommended by a neighbor who had their roof done several years ago.  After reading Quality Roofing's reviews on Angie's List I saw they had great
ratings.  They were great and more importantly my roof doesn't leak!!  It was a pleasure to have met Leroy and his crew.  I highly recommend Quality Roofing! 

We had large amounts of water coming through our ceiling around a light fixture after a recent heavy snow fall and subsequent rain. The leak started at 10 pm on a Friday night. I managed to remove the light fixture to increase the flow of water and place a large bucket on the floor to catch the rapid dripping. By early morning the bucket had overflowed. I put a large empty flower pot in its place and made my way onto the roof.
Water was standing on the roof (a flat roof of tar and gravel construction about 12 years old) in an area surrounding a PVC sewer vent pipe, which looked like a good candidate for the source of the leak.  This was a low spot in the flat roof that was not draining. There was also a lot of melting snow feeding the ponding area. I swept as much water out of the area as I could with an old broom. It was still raining. 
I called three roof repair companies on Angie's List and had to leave messages (the recent rain had them all very busy). Leroy was the first to call back and said he could come by at 12:30. He did. We went on the roof (still raining) and Leroy made an assessment. He agreed that the pipe was the most likely source of the leak. He then offered to come back after the roof dried out and fix the leak for NO CHARGE. He did. He cleaned the area around the pipe thoroughly and applied a high quality patch material over the affected area. 
If I ever have a major problem with my roof, Leroy will get my business.  He came out on one of his busiest days, in the rain, and provided his expert advice and then followed up with a repair job for no charge.  He also provided me with advice on care of the roof. It is rare these days that a provider is honest and does not try to sell more than is needed. Leroy is one of those providers. Highly recommended.

Never have I seen a contractor so honest and capable of outstanding work. Leroy fixed the problem and did it quickly and efficiently, no leaks afterwards. Leroy Ortiz is absolutely excellent all around and his old-school approach to work is refreshing to see. If anyone has any problems, Leroy is the man to call.

Before I called Quality Roofing, I had two different handyman types look at the roof, and all they did was smear some tar in the areas that were leaking.  It didn't help.  I had another roofer look at my roof and he seemed unsure about what might be the problem.  He quoted a price for repairs almost three times what Quality Roofing charged.  That estimate also included a statement that there was no guarantee the problem would be fixed.  After Leroy looked at the roof, he knew immediately what was causing the problem.  It had to do with the roofing in the valleys over an add-on not being installed properly to start with, and a similar problem on the other side of the house.  I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Quality Roofing to anyone looking for someone extremely knowledgeable, honest, and professional.

First Quality roofing was the 5th estimate i received. I selected this contractor not only because of the pricing but, my contact with Leroy was most impressive and professional. When Leroy came in to give me the estimate he reviewed the roof and came back with pictures to show me what was causing the leak and he offered to fix this leak for nothing.  He did not worry if he got the job or not he just volunteered to fix the problem to stop the leak.  I was impressed.  After my contact with the insurance company i showed them the estimates and he chose Quality roofing because it was exactly how they wanted the repair to be completed.  I contacted Leroy and arranged for him to do the job.  Due to several days of rain we finally got together for the roof to be completed 10-13-14.  the crew came in full force and began the work.  Some fixtures and issues developed while the work was being completed because of the hammering.  I notified Leroy and he came in to repair the damage and he replaced my light bulbs.  Overall the job took until 10-16.  While the repair was being conducted Leroy pointed out to me that the dish Direct TV put on the roof was attached directly to the roof and he suggested I contact DTV to relocate the Dish. He also offered to pay the fee for relocating the dish.  The Rep from DTV showed up while Leroy was still here and they discussed the best possible place for the dish and the DTV rep agreed and relocated the dish for no cost.  I was totally impressed with work completed by Quality Roofing and I must say this that if you are looking for someone to be caring and knowledgeable contact Leroy after all the other estimates are gotten and you will see what I mean.  This guy is a blessing sent to me.

This was the 5th roofer I had out for an estimate. After getting some run-arounds from other companies, I was feeling pretty discouraged. At first it seemed like this was going to be another disappointment--he missed our first estimation appointment. However, unlike anyone else I had talked to, he was completely upfront about the mistake, apologized sincerely and took responsiblity for the error. I decided to give him another chance and I am very glad I did.
Unlike some companies that send a salesman or some low-on-the totem pole kid to do the estimate, he came out himself. He asked me all kinds of questions about what I was looking for, talked to me in detail about what he could do, and most importantly, why. Instead of just going up, taking measurements, and having someone at some office draw up an estimate, he talked to me in depth about my needs and the process, gave me time to ask lots of questions, then measured, asked more questions and gave me the estimate right there.
The reason I decided to call him was because on the Albuquerque Angie's List site, someone mentioned that he was respectful to women. I absolutely second that. Not only were he and all of his employees polite, but they were absolutely respectful of my intelligence and treated me exactly as I imagine they would treat any man. (They never met my husband until the end, but they were equally respectful of him, too.)
They were able to set the time of the service quickly and accommodate my needs. They kept me in the loop throughout the entire process, worked quickly, efficiently and cleanly, and did exactly what we agreed upon. They left everything amazingly clean. One way Quality Roofing stood above other roofers I got estimates for--he only charges cost for any additional supplies (like decking that needs replacement or the GAF 6.) He provided me with he actual sales receipts to back this up. Even though his base estimate was not the lowest (though it was among the lower ones) the final cost was easily the lowest, because of that.
There are also some intangibles that I think are important. From the first he struck me as an honest, decent human being who took pride in his craft. All of my contacts with him support this. I never felt like he was trying to "sell" me.  I also saw that his workers were very fond of him and very respectful towards him. They clearly wanted to do a good job and got along well, which made the atmosphere much more pleasant. Even though LeRoy was there a lot of the time, when he was not there, I found his workers easy and pleasant to work with. (And they worked just as hard in his absence.)
After the roof was done, there was a slight problem with the swamp cooler connection. Because the cooler was not turned on in May, it took a few weeks before I noticed the problem. I called LeRoy on a Friday afternoon, he came out himself first thing Saturday morning and took care of it quickly and pleasantly (no charge, of course.) He apologized for the problem and encouraged me to call again in the future if I have any other concerns or problems. (I haven't.)
This was easily the most pleasant roofing experience I could imagine. I recommend him highly to anyone.
