Concrete Repair
Three months after completion of the work, the front pourch sunk 3". The builder said it was a combination problem by Premier and All Knight Plumbing. The soil had been compacted but All Knight had additional work to do, and they were supposed to compact the soil after their work. I went to Premier after J&M Rivera was off the project. I showed them the problem and asked for assistance in correcting the problem. I was told that Premier no longer does residential work and therefore would not work on this project. I then contracted with another concrete firm to make the repairs. Once complete I sent Premier a letter with the costs of repair and asked for reimbursement of their portion, assumed to be 1/3, of $5000. repair cost. Premier refused to be considered at fault.
