Is the service bad? No. Would I use them again? No. To get a better grade from me they could have been upfront with all costs. Whenever you deal with a mortgage banker you don't really see how much they are charging you until the very end. You don't see all your fees upfront and they kind of shove them down your throat at the end. I think they charged me two percentage points or some c*ap. I wanted to know all the costs up front. From what I recall it was not the same day, it was, like, a day or two later.

At Closing I noticed she only made this right buy rolling in the closing cost and increasing our mortgage amount to cover the expenses.
Was never provided a GFE
Loan Officer has contacted me and made a settlement with me. I appreciate the company making things right
"We take these comments very seriously, and would like to offer more information. There have been significant federally mandated changes in the mortgage industry over the last few years, including the implementation of a new 3 page GFE form, which does not require a signature from the client. While we respect the client’s perspective, we can’t imagine a situation in which they would not have received a GFE. It is a critical piece of the lending laws we adhere to, which we treat with the utmost importance. Our loan disclosure packet that is printed for each client is templated to include all pertinent documents so as to avoid omitting any disclosures. With regard to the rate the client received, our Loan Officer has taken responsibility for the fact that indeed, the rate was not locked when originally intended. Because this was our error, we did provide the initial rate that was quoted.. While there was an additional cost to provide this rate, we did reconcile with the client to cover that cost at our expense. Additionally, it is worth noting that rates had indeed increased by the time the rate lock was executed. As a result, we closed this loan at break even, meaning no commission or income of any kind was earned, so that we could provide the rate the client was promised. We do appreciate the opportunity to respond to this client’s concerns. As mentioned above, we take their concerns seriously; and as a company that has been referral based our entire 12 plus years in business, we are always looking for ways to improve the level of service we provide."
