 + -1 moreOverall, I was VERY happy with how well everything worked out. They sold my house in three days and I got full asking price (I really believe this was due to all the great pictures, and they made sure the listing looked sharp). They worked it out so the closing worked out with buying the new home. They charged a standard 3% for the sale of the house. They got 3% on the purchase, but the seller paid that. They were very honest and had some great recommendations for getting inspections and whatnot. It seemed like working in the evenings and weekends was preferable for them, which really worked with our schedule.
Description of Work: Ben and Philip performed two services for me. They sold the house we were living in and we worked with them to purchase a new home. Selling the house included helping us price the home, listing on the MLS, taking zillions of pictures in order to choose the right ones to use to market the house, giving us a few suggestion on what to do to improve the chances of selling, and then dealing with all the realtors and paperwork. Buying a new home began with Ben emailing us many houses that were in the price range, neighborhood, and had the features we wanted. They then arranged to look at all the houses we wanted to around our schedules which meant evenings and weekends. They negotiated with the selling realtor and witnessed all the inspections. For both the sale and the buy one of them was present to help us with all the paperwork.
