An excellent job. They have one regular crew that has been with the company for many years. They were all very courteous, professional, and quality craftsmen. Their price was a little higher than other bids I got but you get what you pay for. They did an outstanding job. I would highly recommend them.

I received a bid from Jaime, one of Pete's representatives, just before Christmas. I made a decision just before the end of December, and by the MLK holiday, Jaime and his crew were at my home tearing off the old roof. I had a flat roof, tar and gravel and this is what Jaime bid. His bid was a tad bit higher than competitors, but much more work was included in the bid, including replacing canales and skylights. Additionally, they attended to all disconnections such as the A/C unit and capping off an electrical line that supplied current to an unwanted overhead light (which they removed and at my request did not put back). The warranty I got was ten years, almost twice the length of any of the other bids I received. 
At each step, Jaime was totally transparent about the process, explaining what the crew was doing and why and invited me to climb up and take a look at their progress each day. He also took pictures at each step of the process, assiduously documenting each milestone. The crew was very neat, cleaning up each evening before they left and did a thorough grounds clean up when they were finished. 
The materials they used were a grade higher than any other company bid, and the parapet work they did was more extensive than other companies said they would do. In short, Jaime takes personal pride in the work his crew does and goes beyond the call of duty, as a fine craftsman would. My roof was in such sorry shape that Jaime actually bumped my home to the front of the line in his schedule saying, "I was worried; your roof has some problems." He was right, it did, but his concern is unusual in this day and age of charging the maximum but delivering the minimum and caring not at all.
I'm waiting to see what happens when it snows or rains again, but I have every confidence that the new roof is going to last as long as the old one.

My roof was ruined in a series of two hailstorms, and my insurance company authorized a complete replacement.  Pete Phelan's crew did a top-notch job.  They stripped out all of the old roofing material and replaced with brand new, top quality shingles.  They also repaired and/or replaced all of the canales so that they would run off properly instead of all over the place.  The job cost more than usual because they had to deal with dismantling and resetting a swamp cooler and a refrigerated air unit, as well as repair the dryer vent, which was blowing into the attic instead of outside.  Pete came highly recommended by several of our neighbors who are also very happy with his work.  I would never use anyone else.

Pete did a great job. We had some repairs to do, which were correctly done and performed with excellent workmanship.
Rooftop airconditioning was handled with great care and there was no damage to anything.  We installed a new Built-up roof and flashed everything. The work was completed in 2 1/2 days and looks great.
The large crew got right to work, worked quickly and quietly, thoroughly cleaned up and even got the Dish satellite antenna back in place. Threy were pleasant, very good to get along with and showed me everything that they were doing.
Couldn't be happier.

He does what he says he is going to do, and he is an honest good roofer. His price is excellent. He can do better with his responsiveness; his responsiveness is the reason why I joined Angie’s List. I am trying to work with him again.
